WHAT IS AN HYBRID POWER PLANT? Ascot Off grid PV-Diesel Hybrid Power Plant is a system that combines PV plant with traditional diesel generators and accumulate the excess of power generated in a energy storage, designed to guarantee the stability of the power during any fuctuations that may occur. The innovative Ascot hybrid technology permits to reach up to 100% PV penetration overcoming the actual problem of power instability of the current technologies. The core of the system is the Ascot PO.IN.S Power Injector System that is a 4 quadrant inverters that merge the diesel generators with the discontinuous solar source without harming the genset and maintaining the stability of the power supplied.
