SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS FOR CHGP 2014 1. Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix (CHGP) will be held in accordance with the FIA s international rules and DASU s regulations, those for the track established environmental provisions, DASU s issued track certificate along with current rules and regulations. DASU is a member of the Sports Confederation of Denmark (Dansk Idræts-Forbund, DIF). 2. CHGP takes place on August 2nd-3rd 2014 around Grøndal MultiCenter as the center and includes the streets; Bellahøjvej, Hvidkildevej, Hulgårdsvej and Borups Allé. The race is a national event and is open to international participants. 3. The event is organized by CHGP with Automobil Sports Klubben (ASK) as the sports administrator. The track is a non-permanent street circuit of 2604 meter and a minimum width of 8 meters. Stop and Go lane is located in the pit, at the entry to the paddock. 5. Race established for the following classes: A1: Historic cars up to 1939 open single- and two seaters A2: Historic cars up to 1947 open single- and two seaters B: Historic cars up to 1965 (TC, GT, GTS) C: Historic cars up to 1971 under 1300cc (TC) D: Historic cars up to 1971 over 1300cc (TC) E: Historic cars up to 1986 (TC, GT, GTS) F: Formula Junior pre 61 & F3 500cc G: Pro/Am 65 Touring Cars u/2.000 ccm H: Classic race motorcycles, show I: Parade
6. Participation will be by registration at www.chgp.dk. Final deadline for timely registration is June 27 th 2014. Registration fee for cars is: 2800 DKK incl. tax (if registration is after June 15 th the fee is 3685 DKK) and for motorcycles: 1000 DKK incl. tax. The registration fee is paid by registering at www.chgp.dk. An entrant license is not necessary. An EU license (or international license) is required with starting permission from the local ACN. As information for race management, we ask at registration that you submit race results from the participant s last 3 races. If the number of entries per class exceeds 40 touring cars or 30 formula cars, the entries will be approved in the order they were received. Cancellations should be received by the secretariat no later than 7 days before the race. To raise the "gentleman racing behavior" as expected at historic races, there will be fact judges at all flag stations. Furthermore there are 2 TV judges in the judge s tower, who will intervene in case of unfair racing. 7. Start signal will be given by 5 red lamps. Pole position is the inside lane. A case of a possible false start will be judged by the fact judge and an announcement of false start will be given with a numbers board at the start line (without black flag). The driver s pit-crew is informed alone by the track s electronic timing, where it will be listed whether the penalty is 10 or 20 seconds. 8. The official noticeboard is placed in the paddock by the secretariat. Containers for oil waste, oil filters, cooling fluids, brake fluids, and brake coating are placed in the paddock. 9. Sign on and scrutineering is open Friday August 1st from 10:00-21:00. 10. Practice and race commences on the track at 08:00 Saturday August 2 nd and Sunday August 3 rd. 11. Mandatory drivers briefings will be held in Grøndal MultiCenter, the press center at the following times: Kl. 07.15 for all classes (except for Royal Pro/Am - class G) Kl. 09.30 for Royal Pro/Am Kl. 11.00 for Race for Riget 12. Any entrant, driver or official s participation will be at his/her own risk and responsibility. DASU and the organizing club cannot be made responsible for any damage to or loss of car, its parts or accessories or any damage that the driver or the car may cause on themselves and/or a third persons property. 13. Insurance through DASU in accordance with the Ministry of Justice s regulations. 14. Registration fee: see section 6. 15. A violation of any of the following will result in a report to DASU: Any form of refueling may only be done at the established fueling stations and at the 2 enclosed refueling areas. This is a demand from the Copenhagen Fire Department. All drivers must have liquid-absorbing foundation underneath their vehicle as well as a tarp that covers the entire circumference of the vehicle. Eventual oil or fuel spills on grass, gravel or asphalt, the area must be treated immediately with Kitty litter. Environmental team with kitty litter will be at the paddock.
As the audience has access to the paddock, it is not allowed to use pit bikes, ATV, electric scooters etc. in the paddock out of safety. All participating cars must have a 6 kg fire extinguisher (extinguish number 233B) at their tent or at their spot. Excessive noise or playing of music is not allowed after 22:00. The starting of engines is only allowed during the hours 07:45-20:00. After unloading the participant vehicle, trailers have to be brought to the trailer parking on the Bellahøj field inside the event area. Race management holds the right to estimate whether a car that has been damaged or disabled, should remain at the bottom of the escape roads or at the gates by clearance vehicles. Race management disclaims any responsibility for damages, which may occur to cars in this regard and any damages in general sustained while removing the vehicle. All cars should be lined up in the exit way to the pit no later than 10 minutes before any practice, timing or heat. The time schedule may be changed during the course and it is every driver s duty to stay informed of any changes! We welcome all participants to Bellahøj Park and look forward to a great event!
