TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & PACKING LIST Capacity Travel Wheel Item Description 1000 Lbs. (453.5 kg) 10in. (25cm) One 6in. (15cm) GENERAL SAFETY RULES WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. WARNING: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions or situations that could occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator. WORK AREA SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS Keep work area clean, free of clutter and well lit. Cluttered and dark work areas can cause accidents. Keep children and bystanders away while using a trailer jack. Distractions can cause you to lose control, so visitors should remain at a safe distance from the work area. Be aware of all power lines, electrical circuits, water pipes and other mechanical hazards in your work area, particularly those hazards below the work surface hidden from the operator s view that may be unintentionally contacted and may cause personal harm or property damage. Page 2 of 7

Be alert of your surroundings. Using a trailer jack in confined work areas may put you dangerously close to cutting tools and rotating parts. PERSONAL SAFETY Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the trailer jack in unexpected situations. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. TOOL USE AND CARE Use only on a smooth, flat surface. Do not force the trailer jack. Do not attempt to lift more than the 1000-lb. maximum lifting capacity of this jack. Store idle jacks out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the jack or these instructions to operate it. Maintain your trailer jack. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts breakage of parts and any other condition. If damaged, have the jack repaired before use. Use the jack and accessories in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the trailer jack for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation. ASSEMBLY 1. WARNING? The trailer tongue must be square or rectangular in profile for this jack to mount properly. A cylindrical tongue will allow the jack to rotate off to the side and allow the trailer to fall suddenly, potentially causing serious personal injury or property damage. Do not drill holes or otherwise damage the trailer tongue when installing this jack, as failure of the trailer tongue may result. 2. The best way to install the jack is with the trailer mounted on the towing vehicle hitch. 3. Attach Crank Handle (28) to the Handle (23) and secure with Handle Pin and Nut (29,30). 4. Measure the trailer tongue for the best location to mount the jack. The jack will lift 3in.-5in. high tongue. Remember that the jack must not interfere with the vehicle or trailer when turning or passing over speed bumps, boat ramps, etc. 5. The mounting plate has 6 holes, and may be positioned either horizontally or vertically against the trailer tongue. Four mounting bolts are included to attach the Trailer Jack. Position the mounting plate on the tongue so that all mounting bolts are as close as possible to the top and bottom edge of the trailer tongue, referring to the photo as an example. Use the configuration that best fits the trailer tongue. 6. Turn the Crank to lower and raise the wheels a few times to make sure that the system works smoothly. 7. Using the four hardware sets and two Mounting Bars, attach the Jack to the trailer tongue. The Mounting Bars must run across (perpendicular) to the trailer tongue. Using removable thread locking compound on the bolt threads will help secure them (not included). 8. Test the operation of the Trailer Jack. Make adjustments as necessary. Page 3 of 7

9. Tighten the mounting hardware firmly. OPERATION WARNING: Never use jack if the mounting hardware is not secure on the tongue of trailer. Regularly inspect hardware for proper mounting assembly. Dismounting from Vehicle. CAUTION: Before dismounting, chock the trailer wheels to prevent the trailer from rolling. Never leave trailer unattended while on a jack. 1. With the trailer on the hitch, allowing the Trailer Jack to rotate downwards. Keep fingers away from the Swivel Plate area, and feet away from the caster as the Jack rotates downward. 2. Assure that the Swivel Handle pins are in place, locking the Trailer Jack into the lowered position. 3. Rotate the Crank Handle counterclockwise to lower the Caster Wheel Assembly to the ground. Continue to crank just enough for the Trailer Jack to take the weight of the trailer. This will make it easier to disengage the trailer hitch. 4. Disengage the trailer hitch. Remember to disengage any safety chains, electrical connections and all other connections, if any, between the vehicle and the trailer. 5. You may need to extend the Jack further to clear the trailer hitch. When the vehicle is completely clear, and it is safe to do so, drive the vehicle away from the trailer. CAUTION: Have a spotter watch this operation to be sure the trailer is clear of the vehicle, and does not roll away. Using the jack to mount the trailer to the Towing Vehicle. CAUTION: If the trailer tongue is too heavy, do not attempt to lift it; seek assistance. 1. If the trailer tongue is resting on the ground, pull the Swivel Handle allowing the Trailer Jack to rotate downward. Keep fingers and hands clear of shaft. 2. Lift the trailer tongue, while the Jack rotates into the lowered position. 3. Pull the Swivel Handle out and engage the pins, locking the Jack into the lowered position. 4. Rotate the Crank Handle clockwise to raise the trailer to the level of the towing vehicle s hitch. 5. With the assistance of a spotter, move the vehicle to the trailer, or roll the trailer to the vehicle. 6. Mount the trailer onto the towing vehicle s hitch. 7. Turn the Crank Handle counterclockwise to raise the Trailer Jack slightly, transferring the trailer weight onto the towing vehicle. 8. Pull out the Swivel Handle, and rotate the Jack into its upright position. Fully engage the Swivel Handle locking pins before moving trailer. CAUTION: Do not drive trailer with jack in lowered position. Page 4 of 7

MAINTENANCE Maintain your Trailer Jack. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for loose hardware, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. Keep all moving parts lightly lubricated to prevent corrosion. After use, wipe external surfaces of the tool with clean cloth. Page 5 of 7
