I started this purse with great African flower. 2 nd Round: Chain 3 (count as first DC), 1 DC in ring, (1 chain stitch, 2 DC in ring) 5 times, 1 chain stitch, join with slip stitch to first DC (6 shells). 3 rd Round: Join next color and crochet in each of the 6 chain spaces: (2 DC, 1 CH, 2 DC, 1CH). Join with Sl St to first DC.
4 th Round: crochet 7 DC in each of the 5 chain spaces. Join with slip stitch to first DC 5 th Round: Join next color and crochet 1 SC in each of the next 7 DC, except between the 2 DC of the third row where you do a Sl St which you join to the 3rd round in order to form the petal - (7 SC and 1 Sl St) 6 times.
6 th Round: Join next color and crochet 1 SC in each SC, except for the middle of each petal where you crochet 2 SC in one stitch in each petal. Tie off.
7 th Round: Yellow - *2 DC, 1CH, leave 2 stitches, 2 DC, 1CH, leave 2 stitches, (2 DC, 1CH, 2DC ) in one stitch * from * to * repeat to the end of round, join by Sl St 8 th Round: 3 CH as a 1 st DC, 1DC, 1CH, *2DC in the loop, 1CH *- repeat to the end, join with 1 st DC by Sl St 9 th Round: Orange - 3 CH as a 1 st DC, 2DC, 1CH, *3DC in the loop, 1CH *- repeat to the end, join with 1 st DC by Sl St 10 th Round: same as 9 th Round
11 th Round: cyclamen - 5 CH, 1 Sl St in a loop all round 12 th Round: 5 CH, 1 Sl St in the 5 CH loop from previous round repeat all round 13 th and 14 th Rounds repeat 12 th Round 15 th, 16 th Rounds repeat 9 th Round, but work with Violet
17 th, 18 th Rounds repeat 9 th Round, but work with Rose 19 th Round: apple - 5 CH, 1 Sl St in a loop all round 20 th Round: 5 CH, 1 Sl St in the 5 CH loop from previous round repeat all round 21 st and 22 nd Rounds repeat 19 th Round
23 rd Round: turquoise - 3 HDC loop, 3 HCD in a loop, 2 HDC in a loop repeat to the end of round. Join with Sl St 24 th Round: SC all round, join with Sl St 25 th Round: 1 Sl St, leave 1 stitch, *5 SC in one stitch, leave 1 stitch, 1 SlSt, leave 1 stitch* - repeat to the end of round, Join with Sl St. End work. Now make the strap Make chain I made about 83 cm (33 inches) long chain (Rose) Then do SC all line (cyclamen) Make 1 Sl St, *CH 3, leave one stitch, 1 Sl St* repeat to the end (water blue) Finishing: Cut free threads, sew the strap on the purse.
