LOREN M. GRISWOLD, CFI, CFEI, CVFI, CMI SUMMARY Mr. Griswold is a Certified Fire Investigator (CFI), Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI), Certified Marine Investigator (CMI), and a Certified Firefighter. Mr. Griswold has 25 years of experience involving fires and explosions and has investigated the origin and cause of over 2000 fires in 33 states and six countries involving industrial, commercial, and residential fires; as well as vehicle, heavy equipment, and marine vessel fires and explosions. Mr. Griswold is also a P.A.D.I. certified diver. Mr. Griswold's area of expertise includes fire and explosion analysis, electrical and life safety standards and codes, electrical fires, arson investigations, and marine fires and explosions. He has instructed electrical fire causation and marine fire investigations classes for the insurance and marine industries on cause analysis, electrical evaluation, mechanical evaluation, report writing, hiring and working with experts, government assistance, and interviewing techniques.
