He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Three Colleges in North Carolina teaching in an Associate s Degree program in the field of Fire Science. He has also given instruction in Fire/Arson Investigations at the Greensboro (NC) Fire Training Academy, Greensboro (NC) Police Training Academy and Alamance County (NC) Arson Task Force. He currently provides the continuing education training for the Greensboro Fire Department (NC) Investigations Team. Mr. DeLancey has given numerous television interviews explaining origin and cause investigations, fire behavior, after fire loss recovery as well as fire safety. Mr. DeLancey gave the key note speech at the NCIAAI annual conference in Burlington NC on May 8 th 2015 on the subject of fire investigations following a firefighter MAYDAY with multiple firefighter casualties. Mr. DeLancey is one of three Instructors in North Carolina that instruct for the IAAI in Expert Witness/Courtroom Testimony Preparation and has assisted Law Firms as an Expert Witness in Mock Trials. 11
