Begins to teach painting part-time at Hammersmith School of Art 1958 First one-man show at Gallery One, London 1959 Teaches at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham 1960 Gulbenkian Foundation Purchase Award 1961 Art critic for Das Kunstwerk, Baden 1963 Art critic for Art international, Lugano 1965 Begins teaching at the Slade School of Art 1966 Appointed Member of Art Panel, Arts Council of Great Britain.
