please read the instructions carefully before using the article for the first time, and keep them for future reference Intended Use The Multi-X fishing rod has been developed for versatile use in ponds, lakes, rivers and the sea. Its 40-100 g fishing lead makes it particularly suitable for medium-weight fishing for such varieties as eel, perch, trout, carp and even small pike, either for float fishing or for ground fishing. The reel is fitted with a monofil fishing line with diameter of 0.35 mm and a maximum weight-bearing capacity of 8.5 kg. Trials have shown, however, that considerably heavier fish can also be landed successfully. The paternoster (ground fishing system) included in the set is intended for sea fishing. Dress the hook with natural bait such as worms, shellfish or shrimps in order to maximise your chances of success. Danger! Do not fish anywhere near high-voltage power lines. Watch out for any overhead wires when fishing and avoid all contact; a life-threatening electric shock may otherwise occur. Danger in thunderstorms! Do not fish in stormy conditions. If the rod or fishing line are struck by lightning, this can lead to serious injuries and, under certain circumstances, to death. There may also be a danger to life through a direct electric shock. 4
Risk of Injury! Risk of injury and accidents! Test the fishing rod for damage each time before use. Never use a damaged fishing rod; if you do, it may not function properly and may, as a result, not be safe. Risk of injury and accidents! This product contains sharp hooks which can cause considerable injury to the user or other persons. Therefore use the fishing rod with due caution. Pay due regard to other anglers (and any other people) and keep a safe distance. Some risk of injury exists from the hook snapping back/sideways in an unpredictable direction when casting the line if this is not done properly. To prevent hook injuries, wear the appropriate glasses and protective headgear. Do not carry out repairs yourself. Consult the service department. Keep the fishing rod out of reach of children. Only allow children to use the fishing rod under the instruction and supervision of an adult. Use Before Using... Caution: Before fishing, enquire about national laws and local regulations. These instructions give the general directions for using the product. The sport of angling is well-developed, with many aspects. We therefore recommend reading appropriate specialized literature and / or seeking advice from clubs and associations. How To Assemble The Rod 1. Insert the reel (4) into the reel supports (2). Fasten it by turning the fixing screw (1) clockwise. 2. In order to put the winder (6) in the desired position, loosen the screw opposite (5) by turning it anti-clockwise and when the winder is positioned appropriately, tighten the screw again. 3. Release the line reel brake (7) by turning it anti-clockwise. Pull the fishing line (11) out of the reel (4) and pass it under the line guard (3) through all rings on the rod. Tighten the line reel brake (7) again by turning it clockwise. 4. Unwind the ground fishing system (9) carefully from the winding board and lay it out flat. 5. Make a loop in the end of the fishing line (11). For this, double the fishing line (11) and wind it through the loop several times, finally pulling it tight (see diagram B). Hook the carabiner (10) from the ground fishing system (9) onto the fishing line (11). Ensure that the carabiner (10) is closed again after hooking it on. 6. Pull the rod out segment by segment, beginning at the tip as in diagram C. Never cast the rod to pull out the segments. Casting the rod Activate the rewind stop (8) and tilt the line guard (3) forwards so that the fishing line (11) can unreel freely. Cast the rod. Turn the winder (6) a little the line guard (3) automatically clicks into position. 5
Maintenance and Cleaning After use in salt water, rinse the rod and the reel in luke-warm water. When the reel is dry, lubricate all moving parts with one or two drops of oil in order to keep it in good working condition and maximize the duration of its useful life. Disposal Please dispose of this product and all its constituent parts in a way which respects and does not harm the environment. Pay heed to all relevant regulations currently in force. 3 Year guarantee This product was manufactured under constant quality controls. Vrhacou zátažou 40-100 g je mimoriadne vhodná pre lov so stredne tažkým závažím a pre pilkrovanie. Udica je urcená pre lov na také druhy rýb, ako napr. úhor, ostriež, pstruh, kapor a aj menšie štuky. Navijak má jednovláknový vlasec s priemerom 0,35 mm, pricom maximálna nosnost bola vypocítaná na 8,5 kg. V praxi sa ale ukazuje, že casto možno vytiahnut podstatne tažšie ryby. Nebezpečenstvo poranenia! Nebezpečenstvo poranenia a úrazu! Pred každým použitím skontrolujte udicu, či nie je poškodená. Nikdy nepoužívajte poškodenú udicu. V opačnom prípade už nie je zaručená jej bezpečná funkčnosť. Nebezpečenstvo poranenia a úrazu! Tento výrobok obsahuje ostré háčiky, ktoré môžu rybárov alebo iné osoby závažne poraniť. S udicou preto zaobchádzajte s patričnou opatrnosťou. Dávajte pozor na iných rybárov a ostatné osoby a dodržiavajte bezpečnostné vzdialenosti. Pri nesprávnom a neodbornom nahadzovaním vzniká isté nebezpečenstvo poranenia pohybujúcim sa háčikom. Ako ochranu pred poranením háčikom používajte vhodné okuliare a ochranu hlavy. Nevykonávajte žiadne opravy na udici. Obráťte sa na vaše servisné miesto. Udicu držte mimo dosahu detí. Deti smú udicu používať len za usmerňovania a pod dozorom dospelých osôb. Obsluha Pred uvedením do prevádzky Pozor: Pred použitím udice sa informujte o národných zákonoch a miestnych ustanoveniach. Tento návod uvádza upozornenia týkajúce sa výrobku. Športové rybárstvo je veľmi mnohostranné. Preto vám odporúčame navyše si prečítať aj príslušnú odbornú literatúru a / alebo poradiť sa u členov zväzov a spolkov. Montáž udice 1. Navijak (4) vložte do držiakov na navijak (2). Upevnite ho otácaním upevnovacej skrutky (1) v smere chodu hodinových ruciciek. 2. Kluku (6) uvedte do želanej polohy tak, že oproti ležiacu skrutku (5) uvolníte otácaním v smere proti chodu hodinových ruciciek, po dosiahnutí príslušnej polohy ju opät pevne utiahnite. 3. Uvolnite brzdu cievky (7) otácaním v smere proti chodu hodinových ruciciek. Stiahnite vlasec (11) z navijaka a prevedte ho popod hácik na vlasec (3) cez všetky ocká prútu. Zaaretujte znova brzdu cievky (7) otácaním v smere chodu hodinových ruciciek. 4. Základný udicový systém (9) opatrne zoberte z navíjacej cievky a celkom ho vyložte. 5. Vlasec (11) opatrite na konci sluckou. Potom chytte dvojmo vlasec (11) a viackrát ho prevedte cez slucku a nakoniec ho utiahnite, vid obrázok B. Zakvacte karabínku (10) zo základného udicového systému (9) do vlasca (11). V každom prípade sa uistite, že karabínka (10) je po zakvacení znova zatvorená. 6. Vytahujte prút segment za segmentom, zacínajúc špicom, vid obrázok C. Udicu nikdy nenahadzujte, aby sa segmenty vysunuli. Nahadzovanie udice Zapnite zaistenie proti spätnému chodu (8) a vyklopte hácik na vlasec (3) dopredu, aby sa vlasec (11) dal volne odvíjat z cievky. Udicu nahodte. Klukou (6) krátko otocte hácik na vlasec (3) opät automaticky zapadne. Údržba a čistenie Prút a navijak po použití v slanej vode opláchnite pod vlažnou vodou. Keď navijak vyschne, na všetky pohyblivé časti dajte jednu až dve kvapky oleja, aby sa zachovala ich funkčnosť a životnosť. 8
Pokyny k likvidácii Obal a tovar zlikvidujte, prosím, adekvátne životnému prostrediu a roztriedený podľa druhu! Tovar zlikvidujte prostredníctvom podniku schváleného na likvidáciu odpadu alebo prostredníctvom vašej komunálnej správy obce.
