NET License Description Code Cat. Single Floating License for multi-user workstation sessions RT<type>2-NET<users?>-<tag?> D A Net license can be purchased to enable a number of PC workstations to connect to the one Server in which the Net license is installed at the same time. Example: If a company has installed PlatformNExt in 50 PCs connected in a network throughout its establishment to a server station where a NET license for 10 users has been installed, this will enable up to 10 users at a time to connect to the server. License Code example: RTCS2-NET-10-1K Advantages: 1. The one Net license is the same one used by a certain number of workstations simultaneously. 2. The license is installed in one point only. The server in which the license is installed does not necessarily need to have Platform.NExt installed as well. 3. The license is available in floating mode for all the PCs connected in net. The remote PCs can access the license which is instantiated for the number of PCs it has been enabled with for simultaneous use. 4. The total price of one NET license is less than the total price for individual licenses for the same number of PCs needed. Considerations: 1. The license is unique and therefore the same type for all PCs. 2. If the server in which the license is installed becomes unavailable for use, the remote PCs will not be able to detect the license (Note that the license can be in the form of a USB or Softkey). NET License for Windows Terminal Server Description Code Cat. One single floating licence for multi Windows sessions RT<type>2-NET<users?>-<tag?> D The license for the Windows Terminal Server uses the same policy applied to the NET license. To calculate the cost of one Terminal Server License you need to take the total number of concurrent Terminal Server users and the number of licenses instantiated on the server. Example: When needing to use a Terminal Server whose architecture is configured with 1 Data Server and 5 Clients (one local client and 4 remote clients), you will need to calculate how many TAGs are needed bearing in mind the maximum number needed by both the Server and Client licenses. The customer will therefore receive the one Net license to install on the Server in order to enable the number of instances and types to be used on the Server Terminal. Pagina 10

Free Customer Support via E-mail Customer Support via E-mail is regulated by a Ticket policy and procedure which comes included when purchasing an Editor License. The customer will receive 20 tickets annually when purchasing an Editor Licence. These tickets are used to access the Technical Support Services by following a certain procedure. In addition, each customer can check the status of the Tickets they have used by referring to their Reserved Area on the Progea website. Each support request opens a case that can be traced in the system by using its identification code. Each individual case is assigned to a technician who will follow it through to the end when it has been finalized and closed. The closure of a ticket comports the deletion of at least one ticket from number of tickets issued annually with purchased license. For cases which take longer to solve (more than one hour of service), the company has the right to apply a ticket for each hour of service effectively implemented by the technician. Important Notice: Tickets are not applied to cases relating to product problems (non- Conformity or bugs) Ticket. Help Desk Contract Customers can subscribe to a Help Desk Contract that provides a Help desk service by phone, email or skype. This service is managed by highly qualified Progea technicians who provide customers with support and assist for the Progea software products. Customers can phone a dedicated Hotline service directly by using an access number. The Hotline Support service is optional and is purchased separately and is subject to the Editor License purchase regulations. The Help Desk contract is subject to an annual subscription fee and it is regulated by the hotline support procedures that issue a limited number of tickets which represent a set number of service hours. The fee covers a total number of 20 hours annually. The advantages of having a help desk contract are: 1. Direct access and priority to the Progea Technical Support Help Desk. 2. Full use of ll the Web Support services (Knowledge Base, Bugbase and other). 3. Communication Driver updates and new driver releases. 4. Major Releases of Development License updates. 5. Minor Release notifications of available Service Packs. Important Notice: The hours of service are not counted if case related to a product problem (Non Conformity or bug). The Help Desk service is also regulated by a tracking system where each Case is identified by a number and by all the required parameters, assigned technician, open and close date. The customer can renew this service according to the price list in effect when the hour limit provided in the contract has been reached or exceeded. Description Code Cat. Help Desk Tickets Access to the Help Desk service for technical assistance is also provided without a contract by using an on demand or pay per incident procedure where Help Desk tickets can be purchased separately when needed. This type of Help Desk Ticket service permits the customer to purchase access to hotline assistance for individual Cases when needed. This solution allows the customer to purchase any number of Tickets, valid for one year, to use only when necessary without having to subscribe to a Help Desk Contract. When the customer decides to use a Ticket, they can access the Help Deck Server and open a case. This case will be assigned to a technician and traceable by its number until it is closed. Once the case has been closed, the ticket will no longer be usable. In the event of cases lasting longer than one hour of service, Progea reserves the right to apply an extra ticket for each hour of service effectively deployed. Training and Consultancy Training Courses are held for the duration of one day according to a prescheduled calendar at the Progea head offices in Modena. Course include a coffee break and buffet lunch. Description Code Cat. Course for individual companies This course is held at the Progea head offices during office hours for a maximum of 6 participants. Course for various companies This is a one-day course held by Progea and organized in another location with times that may differ from those held at the Progea head offices. This course is held for various companies together for a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 25 participants. Progea has the right to cancel courses if the number of enrolments received prior to course enrolment deadline is less than the minimum consented. TRNG-DY TRNG-MA C C Custom Support Progea offers support for specific customer programming needs. The Progea technicians also provide assistance that exceeds the normal one-day training course limit by additional one or two days with one-to-one customer assistance. Support and/or development of components and/or projects which take longer than 3 days may be subject to specific offers provided in function with the specific technical specifications. Courses on demand can be organized and held elsewhere and incur additional costs to cover travel expenses.
