Wash station for ph and conductivity electrodes The active wash station washes every tip in a separate well with a duct from below. Wash power can be set in the macro. The overflow water is passively running through the waste tubing. Electrode dryer The 8 channel electrode dryer is working as an air knife with filtered compressed air while the electrodes are moving up through the air flow. Highlights: Freedom EVOware driver Store Macro To avoid drying out of the ph electrode, it can be stored in a suitable ph solution in the first column of the 48 well storage/calibration plate. This position is approached when choosing the lower position. The upper position can be used for exchanging the storage/calibration plate or for long term storage (ph electrodes have to be capped with liquid filled caps provided by the manufacturer) Measure Macro Wash macro For cleaning the electrodes before or after a calibration measure or store step, the wash macro can be used. The parameters are the same as in the measure, calibrate ph or test conductivity macro. It is recommended to wash the electrodes before each calibration or measurement. Calibrate ph Macro The ph calibration is carried out according to the setting of the measurement device. The buffer is detected manually and the user can define the acceptable borders for the slope between two buffers. If desired, the results will be prompted after the calibration and the user can decide if the calibration shall be saved or not. If the data is not shown the calibration will be automatically be saved if the slopes are inside the allowed range. The values are anyway saved in an output file. Test Conductivity Calibration The conductivity calibration test is carried like a measurement, but buffers are stored in the 48 well storage and calibration plate. The user defines the acceptable borders for expected value for each buffer to be measured. If desired, the results will be prompted after the measurement and the user can decide if the process shall proceed or not. The values are anyway saved in an output file.
