Known Issues - Parallels Desktop may slow down while you re installing updates from Microsoft. - Unable to install Ubuntu via EFI using Express installation. - Windows may crash when you switch from using a built-in camera to external one. - Microsoft Office 2013 may work slowly when running in Windows 8 with 1 CPU. - You may be unable to uninstall Parallels Tools from a Mac OS X virtual machine. - Sharing SkyDrive folders with Mac OS X is not supported with the preinstalled Windows 8 SkyDrive app. You must download and install SkyDrive for the desktop: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/skydrive/download - When using Parallels Desktop on a Mac with OS X 10.9 Mavericks, in some cases the virtual machine process may appear as Not Responding in Activity Monitor. However, it doesn't affect the virtual machine performance in any way. System Requirements Hardware - A Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor (Core Solo and Core Duo processors are no longer supported). - At least 2 GB of RAM (4 GB or more recommended) Note: Your Mac must have enough memory to use Mac OS X and its applications plus the memory required for each additional operating system (and its programs) that you want to use simultaneously. - At least 700 MB of space available on the boot volume (the volume that has Mac OS X) for Parallels Desktop installation. - 15 GB of available disk space for Windows.
