Board of Supervisors County of Riverside ORDINANCE NO. 911 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES OF SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICTS OF SAID COUNTY The Board of Supervisors of the County of Riverside Ordains as Follows: Section 1. SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT NO. 1 shall consist of territory in the County of Riverside included within the following described boundaries: 1. Beginning at the West one-quarter corner of Section 16, T2S, R4W, SBM; 2. Thence East along the West-East center Section lines of Sections 16 and 15 to a point of intersection with the centerline of Pigeon Pass Road; 3. Thence Southeasterly along the centerline of Pigeon Pass Rd. to a point of intersection with the Northerly city boundary line of the City of Moreno Valley as it exists today; 4. Thence North to along the West line of said East one-half to Northwest corner of East one-half of the Southwest one-quarter of said section 11, T3S, R4E; 48. Thence East along the East-West center section line to the East one-quarter corner of said Section 11, T3S, R4E; 49. Thence North along section lines to the East one-quarter corner of Section 35, T2S, R4E; 50. Thence West along the East-West center section line to the Center one-quarter corner of said Section 35, also being a point on the city boundary of the City of Desert Hot Springs; 51. Thence Westerly, Northerly and Easterly along the city boundary line of the City of Desert Hot Springs as it exists today to the East one-quarter corner of Section 19, T2S, 52. Thence North along Section lines to a point of intersection with the North boundary of the County of Riverside; 53. Thence Westerly along the North boundary of the County of Riverside, to the Point of Beginning. Section 6. The Board of Supervisors hereby finds and determines, upon the basis of reported results of the 2010 decennial federal census, that the boundaries of said supervisorial districts have been adjusted so that the districts are nearly equal in population as may be and so that the districts comply with the applicable provisions of Section 1973 of Title 42 of the United States Code, as amended. In establishing the boundaries of the districts, the Board also gave consideration to the following factors: (a) topography, (b) geography, (c) cohesiveness, contiguity, integrity, and compactness of territory, and (d) community of interests of the districts.
