Project Description Brazos Electric plans to construct new transmission facilities in the City of Frisco and Town of Little Elm in Denton County, Texas. The new line would extend west from a tap point along an existing Oncor

2 Electric Delivery Company, LLC (Oncor) 138 kv transmission line (The Colony-Roman Juarez transmission line) located just west of the Dallas Tollway in southeastern Denton County to a new substation (the Stonebrook Substation), to be sited near Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 423 and King Road, just east of Lake Lewisville in southeastern Denton County. In order to meet the aforementioned goals, four general routing corridors for the transmission line are being considered, including an underground option along Main Street, an overhead option along Main Street, an underground option along Stonebrook Parkway and an overhead option along Stonebrook Parkway. The proposed transmission line would consist of a new 138 kv double circuit line, approximately 2.9 to 4.5 miles in length. Overhead routes would utilize single-pole structures. The transmission line right-of-way for overhead routes would vary from approximately 40 to 70 feet wide. The operational right-of-way width for underground routes would vary from approximately 20 to 70 feet wide depending on construction constraints. The proposed Stonebrook Substation site would be approximately five acres in size. The estimated cost of the proposed underground project would be approximately $42,603,558. The estimated cost of the proposed overhead project would be approximately $13,687,156. The proposed project will provide for increased reliability and better continuity of service for Brazos Electric s member cooperatives and its member customers. Proposed project alternatives include four possible tap locations along the existing Brazos Electric transmission line (Tap 1, Tap 2, Tap 3, and Tap 4), 15 possible route segments (Segments 1-15), and two possible substation locations (Substation and Substation ). Route segments 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D, 11, and 14 may be either overhead or underground. The various route segments combine to make up a total of 20 end-to-end route alternatives (four underground routes and 16 overhead routes. The following table lists the composition of the 20 end-to-end routes by segment. The following is a description of all of the route segments that make up the 20 end-to-end routes. Segment 1 Overhead Segment 1 begins at the terminus of Segment 10 and extends north-northeast approximately 192 feet across King Road, terminating at its junction with Sub. Segment 2 Overhead or Underground Segment 2 begins at the terminus of Segment 3 approximately 359 feet east of the intersection of FM 423 and Main Street. It continues west along the median of FM 720/Main Street for approximately 359 feet to the intersection of FM 423 and Main Street. It extends west along the median of King Road for approximately 1,525 feet, where it either extends northwest for approximately 142 feet, terminating at Sub, or extends southwest for approximately 142 feet, terminating at Sub. Segment 3 Overhead or Underground Segment 3 begins at the terminus of Segment 4 and extends west for approximately 1,149 feet along the centerline of FM 720/Main Street, terminating at its junction with Segment 2.

4 Segment 4 Overhead or Underground Segment 4 begins at the termini of Segments 5 and 6 and extends west for approximately 8,559 feet along the centerline of FM 720/Main Street across Teel Parkway and Commonwealth Drive, where it terminates at its junction with Segment 3. Segment 5 Overhead or Underground Segment 5 begins at the terminus of Segment 8 and extends west for approximately 2,399 feet along the centerline of FM 720/Main Street where it terminates at its junction with Segment 4. Segment 6 Overhead Segment 6 begins at the terminus of Segment 7 and extends southwest for approximately 179 feet to the south side of FM 720/Main Street. It continues west for approximately 2,226 feet, at which point it turns northwest for approximately 135 feet and terminates at its junction with Segment 4. Segment 7 Overhead or Underground Segment 7 begins at the termini of Segments 8 and 9. It continues west along the median of FM 720/Main Street for approximately 637 feet, crossing Legacy Drive, and terminating at its junction with Segments 5 and 6. Segment 8 Overhead or Underground Segment 8 begins at Tap 1, located along an existing ONCOR transmission line at a point approximately 680 feet east of the intersection of Legacy Drive and FM 720/Main Street. It extends northwest for approximately 214 feet into the median of FM 720/Main Street. It continues west in the median of Main Street for approximately 502 feet to the intersection of Legacy Drive, where it terminates at its junction with Segment 7. Segment 9 Overhead Segment 9 begins at Tap 1, located along an existing ONCOR transmission line at a point approximately 635 feet east of the intersection of Legacy Drive and FM 720/Main Street. It extends west for approximately 526 feet on the south side of FM 720/Main Street and then extends northwest for approximately 203 feet into the median of Main Street, where it terminates at the intersection of Legacy Drive and its junction with Segment 7. Segment 10A Overhead or Underground Segment 10A begins at the end of Segment 10B, at which point it turns east, following south of King Road for approximately 1,218 feet terminating at its junction with Segment 1/Sub.

5 Segment 10B Overhead or Underground Segment 10B begins at the end of Segment 10C along Stonebrook Parkway, at which point it turns north and continues for approximately 3,017 feet, just south of the intersection of King Road and Witt Road. Segment 10C Overhead or Underground Segment 10C begins at the terminus of Segment 10D and continues west for approximately 418 feet following north of Stonebrook Parkway, terminating at its junction with Segment 10B. Segment 10D Overhead or Underground Segment 10D begins at the terminus of Segment 11. It continues west along the median of Stonebrook Parkway, crossing FM 423 and Frisco Lakes Drive for approximately 2,086 feet, to a point where Stonebrook Parkway transitions from a four-lane divided road to a two-lane undivided road. It continues west for approximately 361 feet terminating at its junction with Segment 10C. Segment 11 Overhead or Underground Segment 11 begins at the termini of Segments 12, 13, 14, and 15. It extends west in the median of Stonebrook Parkway for approximately 3,796 feet, crossing Teel Parkway to the intersection of Stonebrook Parkway and Plum Creek. It continues northwest in the median of Stonebrook Parkway for approximately 6,939 feet, crossing Reinsman Road/Canyon Ranch Road, Lone Star Ranch Parkway, Bridle Boulevard, Red Rock Canyon Road, and Gibbon River Lane, then continuing west along the median of Stonebrook Parkway for approximately 688 feet, and terminating at its junction with Segment 10. Segment 12 Overhead Segment 12 begins at Tap 2. It extends west for approximately 3,735 feet, crossing Legacy Drive and turning south approximately 80 feet east of 4 th Army Memorial Road. It continues south for approximately 1,282 feet where it terminates at its junction with Segment 11. Segment 13 Overhead Segment 13 begins at Tap 3 at the southeast corner of the intersection of Stonebrook Parkway and Legacy Drive. It extends northwest for approximately 292 feet, at which point it turns west, continuing for approximately 3,391 feet along the north side of Stonebrook Parkway. It then extends southwest for approximately 83 feet into the median of Stonebrook Parkway at its junction with Segment 11. Segment 14 - Overhead or Underground Segment 14 begins at Tap 3 at the southeast corner of the intersection of Stonebrook Parkway and Legacy Drive. It extends northwest for approximately 249 feet, at which point it turns west, continuing for approximately 3,423 feet along the median of Stonebrook Parkway, terminating at its junction with Segment 11.

6 Segment 15 Overhead Segment 15 begins at Tap 4 on the east side of 4 th Army Memorial Drive approximately 3,404 feet south of the intersection of 4 th Army Memorial Drive and Stewart Creek Road. It extends north for approximately 3,404 feet along the east side of 4 th Army Memorial Drive, terminating at its junction with Segment 11.
