Economy Car Package The economy car package is the cheapest way to travel. The package includes up to 5 persons (4 persons on the Kiel-Oslo route) and a passenger car round trip. The price is determined by supply and demand so the sooner you book the lower the price. Payment must be made when ordering and the ticket will not be refunded if cancelled. You can however choose between different levels of flexibility. Step 1 - Best Price: No changes allowed. Exception: changes to the number of passengers, size of the vehicle and upgrading of cabin are allowed. Step 2 - Semi Flex: The ticket can be changed to departures on the same price step. Step 3 - Full Flex: The ticket can be changed to all available departures for a surcharge. Economy car package Kiel-Oslo, round trip The price includes up to 4 persons and a passenger car in a 3-star cabin (I4) round trip between Kiel and Oslo. Payment must be made when ordering. In other words, Color Line SuperSpeed is the smart way to travel. The new SuperSpeed ships will operate on the Kristiansand-Hirtshals and Larvik-Hirtshals routes. On board the new Color Line SuperSpeed ferries, everything has been done to ensure that your crossing will be pleasant and comfortable. A large buffet restaurant serving hot and cold dishes, café and coffee bar in addition to several shops with an exiting range of products are just a few of the facilities on board. If you wish to reserve a seat during the crossing, we recommend that you make a reservation in advance. Travel Regulations Legal regulations: The Norwegian Maritime Code of June 24, 1994, 39 with later amendments as well as Color Line s terms and regulations posted on board and at our terminals are in effect with regard to transportation of passengers and their luggage, including their vehicles. Reservations: Reservations should be made in advance. The guest s full surname, first name, address, phone number, birth year and nationality must be stated. When making a group reservation (min. 20 persons), we must receive the complete name list no later than 30 days before departure. Reservations may be made at travel agencies or at Color Line s offices/agents. When reserving vehicle space, please state type of car, length and height including any roof luggage. For trailers, please state total length including towbar. Only vehicles with drivers are accepted. Luggage must consist of personal effects only. Furniture, exhibition material etc., must be manifested. Contact Color Line Cargo. Payment: Payment in full for reserved accommodation must be made no later than 30 days before departure. The booking is binding for the client when it is made, but no contract exists between Color Line and the client until Color Line has received payment in full and has sent a confirmation of the reservations. Economy car packages must be paid by credit card when ordering. Cancellations: For cancellations the following charges apply: - 30-15 days before dep.: 10% of the price - 14-6 days before dep.: 25% of the price - 5 days-24h before dep.: 50% of the price - Less than 24h before dep.: 100% of the price. Cancellation fees per person for full fare transportation trips (excluding car packages): - Cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure: No charge. - Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to depar - ture (or no-show): No refund. Ticket can be used on later departure within 12 months. Other terms exist for groups. Economy car packages have other terms and conditions. See pages 4-5. Deposit: A deposit of 10% of the total price must be paid on all bookings over Eur 220 or equivalent within 10 days of ordering. The order becomes a binding agreement once reserved. If a deposit is not received by Color Line within the time limit, Color Line has the right to cancel the reservation. Other rules apply for groups of 20 or more. No show: On our round trip packages it is required that the outbound sailing must be used in order to use the return sailing. If you do not show up for the outbound sailing the return will automatically be cancelled and you will not be offered a refund. Alterations: Alterations to arrangements made by the client: a charge of minimum EUR 10,- per alteration will incur. Booking terms: Color Line reserves the right to cancel any sailing, in which case the passage money will be refunded in full. If it is necessary to alter the schedule, dates, timings, port of call or otherwise deviate from the published itinerary, Color Line cannot accept responsibility for any loss or expense incurred by the guest. Color Line reserves the right to replace any of the vessels described in this brochure with another vessel. Tickets: Ticket prices apply to the sea voyage per person and per berth in the required cabin category. Meals are not included in the ticket price unless otherwise specified. Color Line reserves the right to charge any additional amount which may be applicable according to the price list on the day of departure. Applications for refunds on unused tickets must be made in writing and must be received by Color Line no later than 4 months after date of departure. No refunds are made for lost tickets. Tickets are non-transferable. Color Line reserves the right to change reserved accommodation. When a client buys a ticket from Color Line in Germany, Denmark, Norway, etc., the client must pay the price according to that country s timetable and fares. Boarding: Guests with vehicles must be available for check-in no later than 60 minutes (90 minutes in the period 13.06.-10.08.) before time of departure, and guests without vehicles no later than 60 minutes before departure on the Kiel-Oslo routes. Day-cabins may be kept until 1-2 hours prior to arrival. Details provided on each ship. Luggage and cargo: Guests have a free baggage allowance of up to 50 kg or half a cubic metre in volume, in addition to any baggage in vehicles. Furniture, cases, large trunks etc. are regarded as cargo - for these items freight is payable according to freight tariffs. Travel documents: All guests must be in possession of a valid travel document which must be shown upon demand. Guests are liable for any expenses incurred if admission into a country is refused. All vehicles must show a national identity mark. Drivers should be in possession of an international insurance form, Green Card, as well as the car s Registration Book. We recommend vehicle owners to contact their insurance company before departure for information on the most recent regulations relating to their vehicle. We recommend all guests to take out travel insurance. Studded tyres: Studded tyres are prohibited in Germany but are allowed in Norway in the winter period November to April. When driving in Norway during the winter season winter tyres (or snow chains) are strongly recommended. Transport of live animals: Cats and dogs may be transported in your vehicle for 6 Euro or in a cage on the car deck for 12 Euro. Color Line assumes no liability for the health or well-being of pets. Note that Norway and most other European countries enforce different regulations with regard to the transportation of live animals across their borders. For more information contact a veterinarian. Animals can not be brought to public spaces or cabins. Limitation period Travellers who feel that they have experienced an insufficiency warranting a rebate or compensation, are required to file a complaint as soon as possible. All complaints must be written and filed no later than 4 weeks after the end of your trip. Compensation in the case of injury or damage to property: In the case of injury or damage to property, the provisions of the Norwegian Maritime Act and Norwegian rules for indemnification shall otherwise apply. The organizer shall not be held liable if he is without blame for the injury/damage. Attention is otherwise drawn to the provisions of the Maritime Act concerning the organizer s right with regard to limitation of liability and passenger s excess. The organizer is not liable for injury/damage that has occurred during transport by ship by another carrier. In the case of injury or damage in connection with package tours the provisions of the Norwegian Act on Package Tours dated 25 August 1995 shall apply. Travellers are liable in damages for any injury or damage caused by the traveller or other party for which the traveller is liable, pursuant to the Norwegian rules for indemnification. Miscellaneous: All transport of guests, luggage and vehicles is subject to the provisions of the Norwegian Maritime Act and Color Line s conditions for the carriage of guests. Color Line s Bill of Lading Conditions are applicable to all transport of goods for which a Bill of Lading has been issued. Port and ship security: Passengers, their luggage and vehicles may be searched before embarkation. Failure to comply with a search request may lead to your being denied access on board, in which case no ticket refund will be given. Required information: Color Line reserves the right to change the prices and times given in this brochure, the right to levy surcharges due to currency fluctuations and/or the cost of fuel/oil, the right to change the voyage schedule and ports of call, and is not liable for any delays or irregularities in operations. Color Line will not assume responsibility for complications or expenses which may arise should a passenger arrive too late for departure, not follow the instructions given by the captain or first mate, or not go ashore at the designated port of arrival as long as Color Line is not directly responsible for the situation. Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to travel alone. 26 27

Facts & Reductions Car package: Valid from Denmark to Norway for up to 5 persons and one car (max height 2 m, max length 5 m) one way. (Prinsesse Ragnhild height up to 1.94 m). From Kiel to Oslo 4 persons or 2 adults and 3 children (one child under 4 years) in a 4-berth cabin and one car one way. Supplement payable for higher and/ or longer cars - see standard vehicle prices. Cabin/recliner is required on night sailings from Hirtshals to Oslo. Tour code 0101. Economy car package: Valid for return journey using the same route. Same conditions as car package except payment must be made when ordering. No changes or refunds. Number of spaces is limited. The number of economy car packages available will vary from departure to departure. Particularly scarce on departures in connection with holidays and at the start and end of vacation periods. See page 4-5. Triangle offer: As car package. The triangle offer is valid from Denmark on all departures and routes with a return sailing from Oslo to Kiel on all departures except Fridays and Saturdays. Reductions Travellers who are entitled to one of the following special price reductions must specify this when making their reservation. No discounts are given after the commencement of the voyage. Discounts are only available for a limited number of passengers. A passenger can only have one discount. The following reductions are not valid for vehicles, car packages, mini groups, on cabins and Inclusive holidays: Child reduction: Children under 4 years of age not occupying a separate berth travel free of charge. Children between 4 and 15 years of age: 50% reduction on the adult fare (not valid on cabin supplements Denmark-Norway). Senior citizen reduction: Persons aged 60 years or more and persons with a disability card, are entitled to 50% reduction on standard adult ticket fares. The reduction is also applicable to one accompanying passenger. The reduction is not valid: - In high season (13.06. 10.08.) - On Fridays from Oslo - On Fridays and Saturdays from Kiel - On cabin and vehicle prices Student reduction: As for senior citizens (see above), but applicable only to college/university students (valid proof must be shown when checking in before departure).
