Study the diagram above to familiarize yourself with the dash harness. 2. Install the fuse box. 3. Route the dash harness using the factory support straps. 4. Make all connections, as shown, on the following pages of this dash harness kit. 5. TURN SINAL This harness is set up with a 15 and later 4-1/4 turn signal connector and will mate directly to steering columns that utilize this connector. If you are using a pre 15 or aftermarket column that utilizes the 3-7/ connector, you can either remove the terminals from that connector and install connector A, on Sheet 5, or cut the connector off and crimp the supplied terminals onto the wires from your switch. Install the terminals into connector A, maintaining color continuity with the new switch. BRAE 17 IARETTE LITER 19 Plug this connector into the factory brake switch. 12 volt feed 'in' to switch. 12 volt feed 'out' to steering column turn signal switch. Lt Blue 12 volt feed 'out' to third brake light. 16. AAW has provided the heater or A/ feed wire only for this application to be used in conjunction with your OE factory heater or A/ harness. The mating connector and terminals for the connection located in the loose piece kit of the dash harness. If you desire a new heater or A/ harness for your truck, contact AAW for the exact application for your truck. (The orange A/ high speed blower power feed from your OE A/ harness can be plugged into the accessory plug #7, as shown on by removing the black connector from the wire and installing the bare terminal into the mating cavity of the RE wire at that accessory plug). 12 volt accessory feed to heater / A/ switch. 12 WIPER PA IARAM - B 13-2 Wiper switch connections Plug connector into the disconnect on the main dash harness (number 12 shown above). Route the three wires to the wiper switch and cut to length. Install terminal onto the wires and insert into connector E. 1-2 Plug connector into the disconnect on the main dash harness (number 12 shown above). Route the three wires to the wiper switch and cut to length. Install terminal onto the wires and insert into connector F. Insert the loose black (ROUN) and gray (AS LITS) wires into connector. Route the black wire (ROUN) to the switch and cut to length, double the cut off portion in terminal and insert into connector F. Route the other end of the black wire (ROUN) to the wiper switch lamp and cut to length, install terminal. Route the gray wire (AS LITS) to the wiper switch lamp and cut to length, install terminal, then insert both the gray and black wires into lamp socket J. 15-77 These connectors, wires, and terminals can be found with the dash harness in Bag. 13-74 WIPER NETIONS Plug connector into the disconnect on the main dash harness (number 12 shown above). Insert the loose black (ROUN), gray (AS LITS), and black / lt. blue wires into connector.route the six wires to the wiper switch and cut to length. Install terminal onto the wires and insert into an ORIINAL NETOR, we are unable to provide this connector in this kit. 13-74 2 15-77 TURN SINAL E The main dash harness comes with a 4-1/4 M turn signal switch connector found on 17 and later trucks (number 2 shown above). For steering columns that already have a 4-1/4 connector you can simply connect the column connector to the dash connector making sure color continuity is maintained. If you need to change the steering column connector you can either remove the terminals from the original connector and insert them into the supplied column connecter A. Or you can cut the wires and install the supplied terminal B and then insert into connector A.
