Welcome Chartered Accountants Worldwide brings together the leading institutes of Chartered Accountants from around the world to support, develop and promote the vital role that Chartered Accountants play throughout the global economy. Together, we re committed to ensuring that our members continue to stand apart defining excellence throughout their career, throughout the world. Launched in February 2013 by the founding partners Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) we are now inviting Chartered Accountancy institutes who share our ambition to join Chartered Accountants Worldwide. In this complex global economy, the role of Chartered Accountants has never been more important. Chartered Accountancy has been a mark of excellence across business and finance for over 150 years. Today, Chartered Accountants in 180 countries advise organisations, lead major companies, shape economic policy and deliver effective financial management and reporting. Your organisation will: be involved in shaping the future of the global profession and of hundreds of thousands of Chartered Accountants around the world; participate with the CEOs and leaders from other member organisations to develop a unified voice and address the issues impacting the profession; and gain information and assistance in developing and maintaining the highest possible standards, through sharing knowledge and experience. Your members will: benefit from a greater understanding, awareness and preference for Chartered Accountants in both your home country and internationally; have access to job opportunities and greater mobility to develop their careers at home and in other countries around the world; and be able to attend events in many locations worldwide for networking with other Chartered Accountants and for their continuing professional development.

Membership Membership options There are two options for membership: Associate Associate membership is open to any professional accountancy body which: is a Chartered Accountancy body, whose members are referred to as Chartered Accountants and legitimately uses the Chartered Accountant brand; is a member of IFAC or an IFAC Recognised Regional Organisation (eg, CAPA or PAFA); requires its members to commit to continuing professional development; is committed to working together to promote the Chartered Accountancy brand; and can demonstrate how it is improving the quality of the Chartered Accountancy qualification. As an Associate, you will be able to: use the Associate logo to promote your organisation and demonstrate your commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards; access exclusive events, networking opportunities for your members around the world and marketing materials for use in your promotional activities; and work with the network of CEOs, education specialists and marketing teams to develop Chartered Accountants Worldwide. Annual membership fee = US$15,000 Member Membership is open to any professional accountancy body which: fulfils the criteria for Associate membership; and has reciprocal membership agreements in place with at least two of the Chartered Accountants Worldwide founder members, or are recognised under Common Content. As a Member, you will be able to: use the Member logo to promote your organisation and demonstrate your commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards; access exclusive events, networking opportunities for your members around the world and marketing materials for use in your promotional activities; have voting rights and the opportunity to become a board member; and work with the network of CEOs, education specialists and marketing teams to develop Chartered Accountants Worldwide. Annual membership fee = US$40,000

You will be kept informed of progress and contacted if any additional information is required. Once your application has been approved, you will need to sign the membership agreement and pay the full membership fee for the remainder of the year. If your application is not successful, we will contact you to explain our decision. If your application is accepted you will be provided with your Associate or Member logo, brand guidelines, messaging and other marketing materials and tools. We will work with you to prepare a joint press release and promotion of your Chartered Accountants Worldwide membership to the global accountancy community. We will work with you and your teams to actively encourage participation of your members in global networking opportunities and events.
