Administrator Quick Setup Guide for OneSource for Salesforce This guide assumes you have successfully installed OneSource for Salesforce. If not, see the Installation Guide located at http:///crm/salesforce/installationguide.pdf. To configure OneSource for Salesforce after installation, follow these steps: Configure Pop-up Blockers 1. If your web browser is configured to block pop-up windows, add *.onesource.com and *.salesforce.com to the list of web sites allowed to open pop-up windows. * Please inform other users in your organization to do the same. For Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions: Set Salesforce Security Settings 2. Click Setup Administration Setup Security Controls Session Settings 3. In the Session Settings section, confirm that Lock sessions to the IP address from which they originated is unchecked. (If checked, un-check it and click Save.) For Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited Editions: Set OSKeyID Field-Level Security 4. Click Setup App Setup Customize Leads Fields. * You must have the Customize Application permission to set field-level security in Salesforce. 5. Scroll down to the Lead Custom Fields & Relationships section and click the OSKeyID field for OneSource for Salesforce. 6. Click Set Field-Level Security at the top of the page. Rev. 11/10 1
7. Make sure that the Visible check-box is checked and the Read-Only check-box is unchecked for all profiles. 8. Click Save. 9. Click Setup App Setup Customize Accounts Fields. * You must have the Customize Application permission to set field-level security in Salesforce. 10. Scroll down to the Account Custom Fields & Relationships section and click the OSKeyID field for OneSource for Salesforce. 11. Click Set Field-Level Security at the top of the page. Rev. 11/10 2
12. Make sure that the Visible check-box is checked and the Read-Only check-box is unchecked for all profiles. 13. Click Save. Add the Account Quick Profile and OSKeyID Field to the Account Page Layout 14. Click Setup App Setup Customize Accounts Page Layouts. * You must have the Customize Application permission to edit page layouts in Salesforce. 15. Click Edit to modify the relevant page layout. * In Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions, you may also need to select a layout name. 16. For Salesforce Professional edition: find the OSKeyID field among the list of fields at the top of the page, and drag and drop it into the page layout. * In Salesforce Professional edition, the OSKeyID must be visible in the page layout for each user in order for OneSource for Salesforce to function properly. 17. Click Custom S-Controls, drag a new Section into your page layout, and then: a. Enter OneSource as the Section Name b. Uncheck Edit Page so that the Quick Profile is only visible on the Detail Page c. Set the Layout to 1-Column and click OK. 18. Drag and drop the Account Quick Profile into the new OneSource Section. 19. Click Preview to review the page layout. * In Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions, click Preview As and select the appropriate profile. Make sure that your page layout is not cluttered and the OneSource Section is visible. 20. Click Save to finish. Rev. 11/10 4
Add the Lead Quick Profile and OSKeyID Field to the Lead Page Layout 21. Click Setup App Setup Customize Leads Page Layouts. * You must have the Customize Application permission to edit page layouts in Salesforce. 22. Click Edit to modify the relevant page layout. * In Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions, you may also need to select a layout name. 23. For Salesforce Professional edition: find the OSKeyID field among the list of fields at the top of the page, and drag and drop it into the page layout. * In Salesforce Professional edition, the OSKeyID must be visible in the page layout for each user in order for OneSource for Salesforce to function properly. 24. Click Custom S-Controls, drag a new Section into your page layout, and then: a. Enter OneSource as the Section Name b. Make sure that your page layout is not cluttered and the OneSource Section is visible. 27. Click Save to finish. Map the Lead OSKeyID Field to the Account OSKeyID Field 28. Click Setup App Setup Customize Leads Fields. * You must have the Customize Application permission to map Lead fields in Salesforce. 29. Scroll down to the Lead Custom Fields & Relationships section and click Map Lead Fields. Rev. 11/10 6
30. Find the OSKeyID field among the list of custom fields and map it to Account.OSKeyID. * This will enable the OneSource unique identifier for the company to persist if a Lead is converted to an Opportunity record. 31. Click Save to finish. Set User Rights by Profile 32. Verify that OneSource for Salesforce is selected in the application list at the top-right of the page. If not, select it now. 33. Click the OneSource tab. You will see the Welcome to OneSource for Salesforce page (below). Click Continue at the bottom-right of the page. Rev. 11/10 7
34. Click the Admin link at the top-right corner of the OneSource tab to edit the administrative settings. Rev. 11/10 8
35. Click Users User Rights. 36. For each profile you have defined in Salesforce: a. Select it from the profile list at the top of the page b. Set the Admin Access option, which controls whether to allow users of this profile to access the Administration pages via the Admin link. * In Salesforce Enterprise and Unlimited editions, every profile to which you grant administrative access must have the View Setup and Configuration permission in order to administer OneSource for Salesforce. c. Click Apply. 37. Click Save to close the administration settings.
