CanSecure User guidelines 1. Please verify and update your India mobile number in the bank records by visiting your CanaraBank home branch. Ensure that the India mobile number is appended by 91. 2. If you have international mobile number, kindly register the same with your Home Branch appended by 00 and two digits Country Code. E.g. UK Mobile number could be registered as 0044XXXXXXXXXX 3. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet. 4. You have received the Verification Key and Activation Code on your registered mobile number as SMS
Start you pc or laptop
Make sure that your connected to internet
1. Make sure that you have received the verification code and activation code on your registered number as SMS. 2. If you have not received the cansecure activation credentials SMS, please verify and update your registered mobile number by visiting your Canara Bank home branch 3. Please ensure that you update your mobile number in Canara Bank records every time you change your mobile number.. If you o e t o ile u e is egiste ed still you do t get the a se u e messages, please double click on cansecure icon on your desktop and enter the Netbanking user id when it asks for. After the successful entry of user id in a se u e, you ould see a optio GET ACTIVATION CODE to get e cansecure verification key and activation code on your registered mobile number.

Download CanSecure a e ure Ba ki g Bro ser provided by Canara Bank STEP 2: Login to your account. Enter you User Name, Password and Click on Submit in order to login to your account. You may enable and use Virtual Keyboard to enter your Credentials.

Sample SMS would e CanSecure Activation Credentials Verification Key XXXXXX Activation Code XXXXXX. (XXXXXX may take any alphanumeric value) Click on Yes and you will be taken to the Download page of CanSecure You ay also li k o No utto to continue with normal banking using browser Without cansecure.
Download CanSecure a e ure Ba ki g Bro ser provided by Canara Bank Click on Download to download an installable (.msi) version of CanSecure OR You may click on zipped version of cansecure and save the file on desktop and right click on it and extract to your desktop. This does not require an installation of cansecure. For Mac users: You may click on the link provided for MAC operating system. Save the file on your MAC desktop and follow the installation setup.

Save the same on your machine and install CanSecure by invoking the MSI File If you are using Windows 2000, then please download the CanSecure available for Windows 2000. The link to the same is provided just below the Download button saying Click here If you are not able to download and install CanSecure, please download an Executable version (.exe) of CanSecure in zipped format as shown in the Screenshot. You will need any compression tool such as WinZip, WinRAR, 7z to extract the executable file. Mac User: You may Click on the Mac setup available on download page as provided in screenshot
Activate Cansecure
Activate CanSecure STEP 1: Double click on the CanSecure icon on your Desktop to start the application CanSecure When you invoke CanSecure for the first time, it will automatically update itself to latest version 1.1.8-6. Enter your Internet Banking User ID and click on Submit.

Activate CanSecure Click here to get new activation credentials STEP 3.1: If the verification key does not match, Please select Get activation code again and click on reset You will receive a new activation credentials on your mobile number Click on reset
Activate CanSecure Set cansecure Pin(Should be numbers only) STEP 4.1: Set Security Question by selecting from dropdown list or by typing a new question and specifying an answer STEP 4.2: Set CanSecure PIN (minimum 4 digits and maximum 10 digits) and click on Submit. You have to always remember the Device PIN and Security Answer. Select Security question from drop-down list Provide the security answer over here
Login after Activation STEP 5: You will be taken to your Canara Bank Internet Banking login page in a Secure Desktop environment and within a Secure Browser. Enter your Internet Banking Password and continue your netbanking.

Regular Use (Always use CanSecure for Canara Bank Internet Banking) STEP 1: For subsequent internet banking usage, double click on Can Secure icon with Canara Bank Logo
Regular Use (Always use Can Secure for Canara Bank Internet Banking) STEP 2: Enter your Internet Banking User ID and CanSecure PIN. (Always remember the CanSecure Pin) Enter your Netbanking User id Enter Your cansecure PIN
Regular Use (Always use Can Secure for Canara Bank Internet Banking) STEP 3. When the Secure Browser opens, enter your Internet Banking password to login into Internet banking website. After login you can use the website normally. Here the user ID is pre -populated by Can Secure Provide your internet banking password to Login

How to create CanSecure OTP? Step A: Generate CanSecure OTP 1. Login to CanSecure on your regular computer. Click on My Secrets and select Activation OTP for New Computer option. 2. Enter the validity period and Click Generate The default Validity period is 7 days and maximum can be 9. Note the OTPID and OTP and keep it in a safe place. You will need this for using CanSecure on a different computer. 3. On clicking Generate you shall see the below screen from here please note your CanSecure OTP ID and OTP
Using CanSecure on a different computer Select Cansecure OTP incase if you do t e ei e a o etime-password Step 1. Login into Canara Bank using normal browser and download CanSecure. 2. Run the CanSecure software. The software will dete t that you e usi g a different computer. You will be asked to choose between SMSOTP and CanSecure OTP options( IF have generated cansecure OTP) to activate the new computer Select the OTP via SMS option to receive a onetime-password on your registered number.
Using CanSecure on a different computer 3. Select the Send me an OTP via SMS option if you are carrying your registered mobile with you. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. 4. In the next screen provide the answer to your Secret Question and enter the OTP received on SMS after verifying the OTPID. If you e gi e the o e t a s e a d OTP you ll e asked for your CanSecure PIN which will activate the new computer. When the Secure Browser opens, Enter Your enter your Internet Banking secret answer password to login into Internet here banking website. After login you can use the website normally Enter the one-timepassword received on your registered mobile number
Using CanSecure on a different computer STEP 5: You will be taken to your Canara Bank Internet Banking login page in a Secure Desktop environment and within a Secure Browser. Enter your Internet Banking Password and continue your net-banking. Enter Your password here
Access your Retail internet banking account without cansecure at your own risk User who is active in cansecure retail OR enrolled to cansecure but not activated can now access retail internet banking site using regular internet browser. Following is the steps: a. You will have to open retail internet banking site through canarabank.in from a regular internet browser. b. You will be asked to provide internet banking username and password.. If you e a ti e i a se u e o e olled to cansecure but not activated, you shall see the intermediate page where we have added a "Continue" button. d. You may click on the "Continue" button and access the retail internet banking
Access your Corporate internet banking account without cansecure at your own risk User who is active in cansecure corporate and marked as non transactional user OR enrolled to cansecure but not activated can now access corporate internet banking using regular internet browser. Following is the steps: a. You will have to open corporate internet banking site through canarabank.in from a regular internet browser. b. You will be asked to provide internet banking username and password.. If you e a ti e i a se u e o e olled to cansecure but not activated, you shall see the intermediate page where we have added a "Continue" button. d. You may click on the "Continue" button and access the retail internet banking
Forgotten CanSecure PIN If your forgotten cansecure pin and your mobile number is registered. Try for all available attempts to login. Incase if it gets suspended due to incorrect attempts your activation code will be sent to your registered mobile number.
CanSecure is Suspended Step1:Restart your cansecure id tep2: ele t YE he asked if you want to reset your suspended cansecure account and enter the SMS OTP and security answer. Step3: Answer your secret answer and Otp received on your registered mobile number.
CanSecure is Suspended A new verification key and activation code will be sent to your registered mobile number Enter the verification key and activation code to activate cansecure again and setup cansecure pin and security answer. Until cansecure Is activated, you may open internet banking account via normal browser over internet.
CanSecure is blocked CanSecure will get blocked for following major reason: 1. Wrong OTP attempt 2. Wrong security answer attempt So please remember Security answer which you had provided at the time of cansecure activation. Please note that Secret Answer will be used to activate cansecure on new machine. IF cansecure is blocked, please contact cansecure support Line on 08025580625 for immediate assistance.
