Create Your Weight Program The Katz Institute for Women s Health (KIWH) is happy to offer the Create Your Weight program, which can help you lose weight and make healthy lifestyle changes. It consists of 12 one-hour weekly sessions in a group setting. Create Your Weight was developed and is taught by registered dietitians, and it can educate and inspire you to make the changes you need to get to your ideal weight. Real Science, Real Results A weight loss plan just for you Our nutrition professionals understand that helping you manage your weight effectively isn t just about losing pounds. It s about helping you achieve a healthier, more rewarding lifestyle. That s why we rely on proven scientific methods to coach you to improve your eating habits, lifestyle and activity choices for good. Ask us about our Optional Metabolic Assessment, which is a simple 10-minute breath test that helps our dietitian determine the number of calories you need to achieve and sustain meaningful weight loss results. It s an additional tool we can use to develop a metabolic-specific weight loss plan.

Maintaining Your Success Maintaining weight loss can be as challenging as initially losing the weight. After your 12-week weight loss program, Create Your Weight continues with ongoing support to help you stay dedicated to your weight loss journey. During the maintenance phase, we offer monthly meetings that continue through the rest of the year from the start of the program. Additional nutrition topics and behavioral skills to maintain your weight loss and support your healthy lifestyle will be presented at each meeting. Many commercial weight-loss programs and fad diets promise quick results, but with Create Your Weight, you ll learn that the best choice for successful long-term weight loss is a healthy lifestyle that incorporates a balanced diet and exercise. Medical Nutritional Therapy In addition to the Create Your Weight program, KIWH offers individualized medical nutrition therapy. Our registered dietitian works with you to provide a personalized nutrition plan based on any health issues you may have, as well as your current lifestyle.
