Name: Writing, Reading, and Language Center Software Activities Relevant for TEAS Reading Preparation The WRLC is located in room MT-020, below the library. These activities correspond roughly to TEAS items. In the Reading section, each activity is marked with a P for paragraph and passage comprehension or an I for inferences practice. Note that the TEAS 2009 score report for reading has the following subscales: Paragraph Comprehension, Passage Comprehension, and Inferences and Conclusions. The reading software exercises were chosen for their similarity to TEAS items. Please be aware that the exercises marked P are also extremely valuable for mastering inferences. Also, the P exercises are the only activities that feature graphs, maps, and advertisements - texts that are featured prominently on the TEAS. Accessing the activities: 1. Bring your TEAS Individual Performance Profile (sample on reverse). 2. You will use your TEAS Profile to determine appropriate activities. 3. The SkillsBank 4 activities can be accessed only in the Writing, Reading, and Language Center, located in room RC 105 below the library. 4.
