NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reasons of weather, riots, civil disturbances, fire, acts of God, public emergency, an act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Checks not honored by the bank do not constitute a valid entry fee. There be a $25.00 service charge for bank returned checks. **Dog must be registered and have a valid registration number before entries will be accepted. Through submission of their entry, the exhibitors acknowledge they are familiar with the rules in the current Exhibitors Handbook. A copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free from the NADAC web site: www.nadac.com Exhibitors may request a written copy of the current Exhibitor Handbook by sending $5.00 to: North American Dog Agility Council (NADAC) 5190 Neil Rd., Ste. 430, Reno, NV 89502 THE MANAGEMENT will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care and custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee shall be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made. IMPORTANT. Please check your dog's NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the club are uploaded to the www.nadacforum.com within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the Forum by going to www.nadacforum.com and submitting your request. Your dogs points can be found in the Members Section. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC.
Levels Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records. Non-Jumping classes Veteran Handler: Disabled handlers or handlers aged 60 yrs. or older may opt to enter the non-jumping classes as a Veteran Handler and receive 10% more standard course time. This division is for handlers only. The 10% additional SCT is for qualifying purposes only for those who may need the additional time to negotiation the course due to physical limitations. Veteran Handlers in the non-jumping classes will be scored and placed with their standard division jump height. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all classes and all dogs in this division for the weekend. Skilled and Proficient Categories Dogs must be entered in either the Skilled or the Proficient category. A dog may not be entered in Skilled one day and Proficient on another day. If you enter the Skilled category, you must run your dog at one jump height lower than its standard jump height. Dogs are allotted the standard course time for, and are scored and placed in the jump height entered. Skilled and Proficient Categories will be combined for placement ribbons. Awards Placements ribbons will be awarded to at least fourth place in each jump height for each class, in each category, except Chances which is a pass/fail class. A purple qualifying ribbon shall be given for each qualifying round in each class. Refunds 100% of entry fees will be refunded if requested before the closing date. After the closing date, injured or ill handlers or injured, ill or in-heat dogs will receive a refund, less a $25.00 handling fee. Verification from a doctor or vet may be requested. There will be no refunds in the event that a dog and/or handler are dismissed from competition, regardless of the reason for dismissal. Other notes for exhibitors Aggressive dogs will not be tolerated and will be excused from the trial. The show committee has the right to refuse any entry. Anyone not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed to enter this trial. All dogs must be on leash when not competing in the ring. No leads, collars, food, toys, or other aids or devices will be permitted on the course at any time. Running order will be determined at the club's discretion. An attempt will be made to separate runs for handlers with more than one dog in a class. Move-ups and other entry changes will be accepted until September 30, 2013 This will be a containerized trial. No open food or loose toys around the site
Handy Facts There will be no food vendor on the premises, and the nearest fast food is about 2 miles away. However, since we know everyone will help out running the trial - Light breakfast and a lunch and will be provided for all competitors!! Signs will direct you to parking area If you are coming from the east and want to use Hwy 9, go up to 172 nd ST NE, turn west and follow the above directions. Setup: Friday afternoon setup after 4pm is available but not recommended because of Seattle/Everett traffic at that time. There will be plenty of space and, because of the 9am start, plenty of time on Saturday morning. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing hold harmless provisions, exhibitor/owner hereby specifically assume sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damages because of bodily injuries, including death, at any time in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, howsoever such injury or death may be caused and whether or not the same may have been caused or may have been aleged to have been caused by negligence of the forementioned parties or any of their employees or agents or any other persons.
