Social Work Service Delivery OverOverview Social Development department offers Social Work services through the Children and Families directorate. These services are rendered through the service offices that are located in five regions. Social Work services provided include: Rendering individual social work intervention and group work services to all children based on immediate need, protection of children and with emphasis on family reunification Rendering family and individual care services to all customers making referrals where necessary. Recruiting, screening and training place of safety and prospective foster parents. Rendering probation services to adult offenders and children-in-conflict with the law.
