Islamic Ways of Worship ( Ibadah): Demonstrate an understanding of learning and performing the Islamic acts of worship, especially Prayers and Fasting. Learn and practice the act of preparation for the five daily prayers and Fard fasting in the month of Ramadan. 2.2.1 Memorize and recite the words of Adhan with proper pronunciation. 2.2.2 Identify the steps of Wudu. 2.2.3 Perform Wudu in correct sequence. 2.2.4 Recognize the names and timings of the five daily prayers. 2.2.5 Perform Fard prayers following the proper steps. 2.2.6 Know the number of Raka t in each daily Fard prayer. 2.2.7 Identify the Islamic month of fasting. 2.2.8 Recognize the importance of fasting. 2
2.2.9 Identify some of the conditions which make fasting obligatory for every Muslim during the month of Ramadan. GRADE LEVEL COMPENTENCIES 4.1.1 Illustrate willingness to obey Allah s command and follow Muhammad saw. 4.1.2 Infer that obedience and love of Allah swt requires not associating any other power to His Power. 4.1.3 Relate to the concept of Prophet hood and exhibit the understanding that Muslims believe in all the Prophets of Allah swt mentioned in the Qur an. 4.1.4 Identify understanding of the Books of Allah swt and the Prophets who received the Books. 4.1.5 Recognize that Allah swt has created angels. 4.1.6 Identify the prominent angles and their corresponding duties.
