Quick CSFEE Overview Activities Connection between and CCISs Main issues and ways ahead
CSFEE OVERVIEW MISSION To contribute to Staff education, training and experimentations with simulation tools, in priority for the JOINT Level. FOR WHOM Education : Ecole de guerre (Joint Staff College) Training : EMIA-FE (Joint Staff for joint/combined operations and training) Component Command HQ in a joint context Experimentation : CICDE (Joint center for Concept Development, Doctrine and Experimentation)
PERSONNEL CHIEF : 1 OF5 ADMINISTRATIVE & SEC : 1 NCO OPERATIONAL CELL 2 OF3 TECHNICAL CELL (SIMULATION CCIS) 1 Civilian Eng. 4 NCOs SIMULATION CELL 1 OF4 7NCO 1 CIV Tech 4 Reserve NCOs
System RESOURCES SICF (French CCIS 330 laptops + servers) Both systems are transportable 1 building : capability to deploy 2 HQs (op. level) with CIS, CCIS and connections

ACTIVITIES
CSFEE prepares and conducts 2 types of exercises 1 Education 2 Training Operational exercises Multi-level exercises (NEW)
How do we use of for exercises? Double-sided exercises and single-sided exercises Multi-level exercises (NEW) is operated by CSFEE with the capability to be deployed outside its permanent facilities 3 phases : Deployment Training for augmentees Exercise 20 pax from CSFEE + augmentees from playing forces Deployment of as close as possible to EXCON
SIMULATION DEPLOYMENT Important points : Simulation must be included in the CIS and CCIS deployments Network architecture information systems security CSFEE deployment represents 13 Cubic Meters and 2,5 Tons No transportation capability (except for computer packaging) Augmentees are necessary to operate Simulation
