Laboratory for testing of lighting devices
Location TÜV Rheinland Lichttechnik GmbH Rhinstrasse 46 12681 Berlin Germany 2
History In 1937 Opening of the laboratory for testing of lighting devices in Berlin as department of the Physikalischtechnische Reichsanstalt (today s Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt ) The laboratory was the only technical service of Eastern Germany for type approval of automotive lighting devices In 1995 TÜV Fahrzeug-Lichttechnik GmbH was established as company of the TÜV Rheinland Group renaming to TÜV Rheinland Lichttechnik GmbH beginning 2014 Listed as engineering center at the technical service of TÜV Rheinland Kraftfahrt GmbH for tests of lighting devices for granting type approval tests at severeal authorities Since 2014 accreditation as laboratory for testing of lighting devices (acc. to ISO17025) Long time experience in testing of lighting devices 3
