Via the DYNAMIC SELECT Controller in the centre console you can choose from five drive modes. This influences the drive system, the suspension and the steering, for example. You will be amazed at how the character of a car can change, how the most diverse of emotions can be awakened with the mere press of a button. So you can make the best of every journey.
Savour every metre of height with the new AIR BODY CONTROL. Available on request, the continuously adjustable damping system with roll-reduced air suspension pampers the occupants using every trick of engineering artistry in the book. A specially tuned sport mode can be selected for a dynamic driving experience. What s more, any unevenness in the road surface is significantly absorbed. Automatic height regulation ensures more stability and less consumption, depending on the current speed. On stony ground or when the car is heavily laden, the vehicle height can also be manually adapted via the level control switch. Start relaxed arrive more relaxed: best achieved with the new GLC. Beyond blue-sky thinking: the PLUG-IN HYBRID drive system. The new GLC 350 e 4MATIC makes the best of every drive system: power, quiet and efficiency. The drive unit consists of a turbocharged 4-cylinder combustion engine with 155 kw (211 hp) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm plus a hybrid module with 85 kw (116 hp) and a maximum torque of 340 Nm. Purely electric driving is possible with a speed of up to 140 km/h over a distance of up to 34 km maximum. When driving faster or on steep inclines, the new GLC changes over to combustion operation fully automatically. The PLUG-IN HYBRID technology also facilitates charging at a conventional socket with 3.0 kw from 0 to 100% in a good four hours. As soon as you take your foot off the accelerator pedal whilst driving, the battery even charges automatically thanks to an intelligent operating strategy, and the car can thus achieve a local CO 2 emission value of 0 g/km. GLC 350 e 4MATIC The PLUG-IN HYBRID technology facilitates rapid external charging from 20 to 100% 1 via a wallbox in just two hours, taking a good four hours via a normal socket. 1 Four-cylinder petrol engine. 2 Recuperative braking system. 3 Electric motor. 4 Lithium-ion high-voltage battery. 5 Battery charging socket. 1 Charge time 20 100%, varies depending on power source between 1.9 and 4 h (400 V/16 A 230 V/8 A).
Go your own way: the Off-Road Engineering package. In conjunction with the optional Off-Road Engineering package, DYNAMIC SELECT is equipped with up to five further preconfigured drive programs for better off-road capability. These are operated using the off-road buttons, the central control panel and the touchpad, which is also optional. The off-road settings facilitate an optimum vehicle configuration even in less than optimum external conditions: the selectable programs are Slippery, Off-road, Trailer, Incline plus the optional Rocking Assist in conjunction with Air Body Control. Definitive. The standard equipment. The new GLC is fitted as standard with the DYNAMIC SELECT system, halogen headlamps, including integral LED daytime running lamps and position lamps, plus 10-spoke lightalloy wheels. With piano-lacquer-look trim and a leather steering wheel, the interior invites you to get off to a great start and tarry awhile.the Audio 20 USB multimedia system is also on board as standard, as is the fuel-saving ECO start/stop function, the anticipatory COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS and the watchful ATTENTION ASSIST.
Intensive. The Exclusive line. The EXCLUSIVE Exterior line 1 includes a simulated underguard in chrome at the front and rear, two chromed tailpipe trims, roof rails anodised in aluminium plus a shoulderline trim strip and window surrounds in polished aluminium. The distinctive design is rounded off by 5-spoke light-alloy wheels. The EXCLUSIVE Interior line 1 receives upholstery in fabric/artico man-made leather plus a dashboard and beltline covered in ARTICO manmade leather, as well as high-gloss brown linestructure wood trim. Progressive. The AMG Line. The AMG Exterior Line 1 emphasises the dynamism of the new GLC with the AMG front and rear apron and the standard-specification AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels. And thanks to the sporty suspension tuning you feel it, too. The shoulderline trim strip is in polished aluminium and the simulated underguard at the front and rear in chrome. The roof rails are a shining example in anodised aluminium. The AMG Interior Line 1 puts the car s interior in top shape with upholstery in DINAMICA microfibre/artico man-made leather upholstery with a 3-spoke multifunction sports steering wheel plus sports pedals. 1 The EXCLUSIVE line and AMG Line are optionally available and freely combinable with each other irrespective of packages.
Exploratory. The OFF-ROAD line. In conjunction with the OFF-ROAD line the new GLC radiates pure thirst for adventure. The front bumper with an angle of approach/departure of 28 gives the new GLC a particularly distinctive face. The shoulderline trim strip and the roof rails are in polished aluminium and the simulated underguard in chrome. Particularly striking characteristics of the OFF-ROAD line also include the 5-spoke light-alloy wheels and the chromed tailpipe trims. Attractive. The Night package. The optional Night package underscores the sportily expressive character of the new GLC. The simulated underguard at the front and rear is in high-gloss black. Further highlights are the 5-spoke light-alloy wheels in conjunction with the EXCLUSIVE line or the AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, painted black in conjunction with the AMG Line. Fine and distinctive: the radiator grille, exterior mirrors, window surrounds and shoulderline trim strips all in black, plus the dark tinted glass from the rear doors and the roof rails in matt black.
