The personalization could be deleted by the Portal Administrator if it was done from the Personalization option. Introduction: Users can personalize their Enterprise portal screen using the personalization tool provided on the Enterprise Portal. Along with other features, the user can customize look of their portal screen portal, their logon credentials, etc The following personalization can be carried out Portal Theme Portal Language User Mapping User Password User Profile Yahoo! Account The personalization options can be accessed by clicking the Personalize function link in the portal header area, and selecting Portal from the drop-down menu. The personalization possibilities appear in the detailed navigation area of the navigation panel The Personalization done as mentioned above can be deleted by the Portal Administrator using the Personalization clean up activity in the Portal Content directory. In Addition to the above personalization, the user can Hide/unhide the individual fields of query selection criteria on the portal screen group and also completely Hide the whole Group of UI elements. This kind of personalization will not be visible in the Portal Content Directory and hence are not available for deletion. 2010 SAP AG 3
Deleting the Personalization through Personalization Clean up. Example for Setting Personalization Log on to Portal as Portal Administrator Access Portal Content Directory by choosing the Support activity from the System Administration tab from the Main Menu. Open the Link Personalization Cleanup and search the personalization done by the user 2010 SAP AG 4
Select the Personalization to be deleted and Press Remove button This action would delete the Personalization and restore it to the default. 2010 SAP AG 5
Deleting the Personalization from the work bench. Example for Setting Personalization Logon to SRM GUI Go to the Transaction SE80 and open the Web Dynpro Component WD_ANALYZE_CONFIG_USER Open the Web Dynpro Configurator and enter the Log on credentials Enter the User id Info as the selection parameter and view the personalization Select the Personalization and Delete 2010 SAP AG 6
