JITCO-Technical Internship Program P O E A JITCO (Japan International Training Cooperation Organization) It is a non-profit organization established in September 1991, which provides comprehensive support and services to Japanese private companies and organizations that accept foreign trainees. It is composed of private accepting organizations and companies representing the industry sector of Japan. STTP-JITCO- SCHEME (Skills Technology Transfer Project) It s a private arrangement between Japanese and Philippine companies wherein member companies of JITCO will facilitate the transfer of technology, skills and knowledge to trainees sent by Philippine companies through POEA. JITCO and POEA serve as Project Managers and Information Exchange Organizations of Japan and the Philippines respectively. The objective of the project is to intensify the training of industry worker through the update and acquisition of new skills and technologies in Japan also, to strengthen the cooperation and friendship between the two countries. The project is divided into two programs as follow: 1. Training Program: The trainee will undergo into Advance lecture for one (1) month after he/she completed the necessary requirements of pre-deployment in the Philippines. In this program the trainee will receive the following benefits; i. Insurance Provided (Work Security) ii. Free accommodation provided by the accepting company where as the trainee will be deployed. iii. Training Allowance of yen per month for period of lecturer iv. Food Allowance is provided by the trainee instead of the company. v. Trainee is not allowed to conduct an over-time during the period of lecture under the guidelines of POEA-JITCO Memorandum of Agreement; violation will take the trainee to be repatriated. 2. Internship Program: The trainee will be on their probationary period of training if he passed the JITCO examination, which required by the program, after he finished the 1st program. In this program, the benefits as follow; i. Intern-Trainee will receive a salary of yen per month gross, (less deductions; Gov. Tax, Public and Health Insurance Premiums, Accommodation if any). Intern- Trainee will receive at least not less than net salaries per month. ii. Intern-Trainee is allowed to conduct an over-time during Internship period, depends on the Implementing organization if required. iii. Bonus and other benefits are depending on the Implementing organization s discretion. iv. Food Allowance is provided by the intern.
PRE-QUALIFICATIONS AS TRAINEE: 1. Filipino citizen (male/female) 2. 18-40 years of age 3. Atleast High School Graduate 4. Certified as having an actual training course in Japanese language, work ethics, Japanese cross culture and traditions 5. Trade Test Certificate Holder 6. Never been in Japan 7. Currently employed in the Philippines 8. Physically and Mentally Fit GLOBAL UNLIMITED INTERNATIONAL MANPOWER INC. It is one of the Sending Organizations (S.O.)/ Recruitment Agency duly accredited and registered under POEA and SEC (Security Exchange Commission) respectively. It provides trainees/intern to its Supervising Organization (S.O.) with agreement contract. The Sending Organization manages and monitors the deployment and condition status of the trainees dispatched to their respective Implementing Organization (I.O.).
