Employment and Economic Development Centre T&E Centre operates under the Ministry of the Employment and the Economy and is based on the combined forces of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy,the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of the Interior

There are 15 T&E Centres Finland s Employment and Economic Development Centres (T&E Centres) 1. Uusimaa, Helsinki 2. Southwest Finland, Turku 3. Satakunta, Pori 4. Häme, Lahti 5. Pirkanmaa, Tampere 6. Southeast Finland, Kouvola 7. South Savo, Mikkeli 8. North Savo, Kuopio 9. North Karelia, Joensuu 10. Central Finland, Jyväskylä 11. South Ostrobothnia, Seinäjoki 12. Swedish Ostrobothnia, Vaasa 13. Northern Ostrobothnia, Oulu 14. Kainuu, Kajaani 15. Lapland, Rovaniemi

T&E Centres are tasked with the promotion of business, employment and rural vitality within their region, based on the provision of advisory, training, development and financing services in issues related to labour and business. Companies product development, technology, internationalisation, business management development and financing; Entrepreneurs starting their business, company establishment counselling and other, closely related activities; Employment promotion, adult education and employment services, as well as the management of employment office activities; and Specialisation of farms, rural industries and fishery and the enhancement of their operating conditions, as well as the supervision of farm subsidies. T&E Centres are also tasked with receiving asylum seekers and promoting the integration of immigrants into society and working life.

3 departments of the Employment and Economic Development Centre and their main duties Employment and Entrepreneurship - implements employment policy and promotes the efficiency of the regional labour market - develops and directs local employment offices - co-ordinates education and professional development services in the region Innovations and International Business Operations - arranges business training, internationalisation and innovation services - co-ordinates branded consulting services for the local SME s Rural Development and Energy - develops rural industries with a view to improving agricultural and forestry competitiveness within the region - promotes fishery and other rural industries locally

Our job in the Employment and Economic Development Centre is to support and advise SMEs in their development to promote enterprises technological development and help enterprises in matter related to exports and internationalization to implement regional employment policy to plan and organize job training for adults to promote agriculture and rural industries to develop fisheries to participate in and influence regional development
