WEATHERVANES 2 Good Directions Ltd offers an extensive range of over 70 weathervanes for all sizes of building. Our standard designs are 3 dimensional and made of copper which has been treated to give an 'aged' appearance, complete with copper balls and brass directionals to match. The figures, directionals and spacer balls can be partially or fully gold leafed to create a really spectacular effect. Alternatively a roof mounting kit or adjustable mounting bracket can be offered where the weathervane is being fitted directly into the apex of a roof or onto a gable end. To complement this range we have The Cottage Collection. These are again made of 'aged' copper with copper balls and brass directionals but have been scaled down to suit much smaller buildings such as garden sheds and single garages. Also for smaller buildings we have our Traditional weathervanes. These are made of aluminium and powder coated black, so they will not rust. In addition to all these we can manufacture specially commissioned designs in brass, copper, powder coated mild steel, highly polished stainless steel and GRP. Dove Height 310mm, length 450mm. GRP is used where large prestigious 3 dimensional weathervane figures are required. These can be finished to look like 'aged' copper or other metals normally used for weathervanes and can then be partially or fully gold leafed. Copper Finials An alternative feature to a weathervane is a finial. There are three styles from which to choose and they can either be highly polished (as shown below) or aged to have a verdigris finish.
