Revised 24th February, 2016 The Smiling Worm product you have purchased has a wide range of applications. However, dilution rates and methods of application differ. Below you will find a list of the many different plants that will benefit from this product. And please remember, this amazing organic product not only feedsyour plants, it will also help protect them from many pests and diseases. Smiling Worm plant food contains natural chemicals which dissolve the skeleton of aphids, thrips, red spider mites, looping caterpillars and more. So in addition to feeding when watering, in many cases we advise foliar feeding which will also deter many plant pests. It also acts as an effective fungicide, deterring powdery mildew, various blights, wilts, blackspot and the like. The list that follows is a result not onlyof our research and personal experiences but also input from our customers. So if you have another application, please let us know and we will update our list. Unless otherwise stated, feeding through the roots should be carried out weekly during the growing season and monthly during the dormant season. This may vary with certain varieties. Foliar spray every two weeks during the growing season and monthly during the dormant season. If you have a very severe infestation ofaphids or red spider mites, drop neat concentrate directly on to the pests. Within 24 hours they should be dead and can simply be wiped away. Dilution factors quoted can be varied to suit your personal experience. 20:1 means 20 parts water to one part concentrate. (For example, 50 ml concentrate to 1 litre of water). Please remember to always use non-chlorinated water with this product. Your Smiling Worm product contains millions of living microorganisms feeding on the molasses we added in the production process to keep them alive and healthy. Chlorine will kill these essential microorganisms. Acers in containers Fertilizer 20:1 10:1 See soil preparation instructions at the end of this list.
