2 Complete Sustenance For Your Soil Our compost is made from recycled food scraps, resulting in a dark, rich compost with greater nourishment and beneficial biology than compost that is made from just leaves and brush. We make consistently super-rich soil amendments your customers and their gardens will notice. Our process accelerates the natural cycles that are found on earths most abundant soils, producing a complete living soil amendment to nourish your soil and your plants. Our Story Chesapeake Compost Works was started by farmers who understand that quality soil is the foundation of a clean environment and a healthy food system. We were frustrated to see so much wasted food scraps being sent to the landfill. We started Chesapeake Compost Works to create the best soil available, close the loop in our waste system, and support those making the Chesapeake Bay region a clean and healthy place to live.
