LCS administration reserves the right to determine what constitutes disruptive/unusual. In order for our school s policy to work, all involved parties must make it a priority to uphold the appearance standards that have been established. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that their child is properly dressed for the school day. Noncompliance with our dress code will be handled in the following manner: In the event of a Dress Code Violation, the student(s) will be sent to the office to wait for a parent to be called. They will receive demerits for this violation. The parent will be

required to bring appropriate clothing, and the student will wait in the office until the appropriate clothing arrives. In the event of a Personal Grooming Violation, students will be sent to the office. They will receive demerits for this violation. If a student is able to change grooming, in order to comply with the standards stated, students will be given that opportunity. A parent will be contacted. If the student is unable or not willing to make the necessary changes, parent/guardian will be contacted to come and take the student home. Students will not be re-admitted until they are in compliance with the Personal Grooming Standards. Continued and persistent violations will result in detentions, and/or suspension from school.
