1 Welcome Message Dear participant, We face in 2016 the 9 th edition of the WKF Youth Camp and World Cup, again a good opportunity to make major innovations and improvements. This year we incorporate to the Cup new age categories for children, with a panel of instructors for the Camp that is probably the top of the tops that the Camp has ever shown. Again it is taking place in the city of Umag, in Istria, Croatia, where the participants are going to find the ideal conditions to fulfil the objective of the Camp; what it is like to train with top world champions in a friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere whilst getting in touch for a whole week with the state of the art of the sport of Karate. Umag can be easily reached by road from many places in Central Europe and not only, which assures this 9 th edition to be a complete success. Finally, I would like to thank the Croatian Karate Federation and the local authorities for their help and support and I am looking forward to welcoming you all personally. Info on participating ages at the WKF Training Camp -Participating ages: 10,11,12,13,14,15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20 years old -Participants to the Camp must be born between 1st July 1995 and 1st July 2006. -Younger and/or older participants will not be allowed 5. Registrations Details -Registration to the Youth Training Camp / Karate 1 Youth World Cup can be done directly by the participants through the online registration system, without the need of specific involvement of their National Federation at the link: https://www.sportdata.org/wkf/setonline/veranstaltung_info_main.php?active_menu=calendar&vernr=83#a_eventhead However, if there is any discrepancy with the National Federation, it is the NF all NFs can access on real time registrations for an event - should communicate to Sportdata and the WKF HQ straight away any incidence. This should be done latest four days before the first day of competition, this is 3 days after closure of registration, so that a smooth running of the registration process and the event itself can be ensured and the necessary steps can be taken.
Deadline of On-Line registration: 20th June 2016. After that deadline (20th June 2016) On-Line Registration will close and a penalty of 60 CHF to all further registrations may be applied according to the WKF Rules. -Registration fees for the Training Camp & KARATE 1 WKF Youth Cup The young participants will pay 70 during the official registration (HQ Hotel Sol Garden Istra, Monday 27th June 2016 from 12:00 18:00) as participation fees for the 9th WKF Youth Training Camp & KARATE 1 WKF Youth Cup It is an obligatory for all the participants, their accompanying persons and trainers to stay at the official hotel. Otherwise, the participation fees for all activities of the Training Camp will be 110. -Registration fees only for the KARATE 1 WKF Youth Cup For all others /only competitors for KARATE 1 WKF Youth Cup/ entry fees for competition is 40 and must be paid during the official Registration in: HQ Hotel Sol Garden Istra, Thursday 30th June 2016 from 12:00 16:00. COACH PROGRAMME On the event of the Coach Activities that are going to take place from June 28 th to June 30 th in Umag (Croatia) in the frame of the 9 th WKF Youth Training Camp & Karate 1 Youth Cup, please find below the Coach Activities schedule and the details for the registration process. Please remember that from January 1 st, 2016; 1. The Accredited Coach level will be the minimum level required to take part in the Karate 1 events. 2. The Certified Kumite / Kata Coach level will be the minimum level required to take part in the World Championships, whether Senior or Junior & Cadet and U21, in Kumite or Kata bouts, as it corresponds. 1. Schedule Accredited Coach Briefing 30.06.2016 from 10:00 13:00 in HQ Hotel (Sol Garden Hotel Istra). Certified Kata & Kumite Coach Examination 30.06.2016 from 14:00 15:00 in HQ Hotel (Sol Garden Hotel Istra). ***Please note that it is possible to take part in both the Accredited Coach Briefing and the Certified Kata and/or Kumite Coach Exams.*** 2. Registration Those coaches who wish to attend to the Accredited Coach Briefing in Umag (Croatia) must register online and they must fill out the Accreditation Agreement for Coaches that can download from the online registration site. Those coaches wishing to pass the Certified Kata and/or Kumite Coach Exams in Umag must be registered online. Fees and payment We would like to remind you that the fees for the Program for WKF Coaches are as follows: Briefing for Accredited Coach level (new application or license renewal) 300 CHF Examination for Certified Kumite Coach (new application or license renewal) 200 CHF Examination for Certified Kata Coach (new application or license renewal) 200 CHF The WKF must receive the corresponding payments by bank transfer to the WKF Bank Account below (including all bank charges).
