Diane s Video Contract One of the things that sets Diane s Video apart is our editing. We spend many hours sifting through your footage to insure a truly beautiful result. We have a wide selection of movies from which you may pick. High Definition All our movies are now filmed in High Definition (1080). Blu-Ray discs are available as well, and we highly encourage you to purchase your movies on Blu-Ray so that you get the full benefit of these state-of-the-art cameras. Memories Video - The Memories Video has become one of our most popular services. You give us your original pictures of the bride and groom, usually from childhood, and we scan them, repair the computer copy, and put them into a video with music you select. We also burn your pictures onto a CD so you can share the easily. Price includes 1 original DVD and 1 CD. All copies are in addition to other packages and are not included on the wedding video. Engagement Interview Video This enhances the Memories Video experience. In addition to your photos we film you in a beautiful setting, telling about how you met (or whatever you wish to talk about). The basic price of $150 is for a single, local location. If you want other locations, please call and we will discuss a price with you. Adding photos to this video will be $1 each. Ceremony - We use three HD cameras. The quality of the filming depends somewhat on lighting and whether we have permission to place our cameras in good locations. (We will try to be as invisible as possible, while still seeking to get good shots.) Using three cameras allows us a better chance of getting a good shot of important moments such as lighting a candle or the exchange of rings. This is a live event, however, and we cannot guarantee good shots for everything. If a bridesmaid steps in front of the camera, there is nothing we can do. In most cases you will be perfectly satisfied with one of our camera angles. Before and After - We have kept the price of this movie very reasonable. We film the bridal parties getting ready, the guests arriving and most of the other things that occur at the church. This footage is put to music and is a delightful addition to your movies. Included is 2 hours of filming, usually one hour before and one hour after. If you want us to film more than 2 hours, the cost is $50 per hour over 2 hours or portion thereof. Reception and Romance Video - The standard price gives you one HD camera for 2 hours at the reception. If you will plan ahead, you can save yourself some money. Whatever you want in the video needs to take place in the time you ve allotted. For example, if you want the toasts, garter and bouquet, cake cutting and first three dances, these elements need to take place within the two hour time period to avoid extra charges. Also, please be aware of lighting difficulties. If you have a low light reception, we cannot guarantee the quality you might desire, though in most cases we can get satisfactory results. Romance Video This is our signature video! Even better, it is free if you have us film your reception. We take clips from all the events you have ordered (Ceremony, Before and After, etc.) and include them in a lovely music video. The standard price for Reception and Romance includes one HD camera, 2 hours. Additional camera $50 per hour. Additional hours, $50 per hour over 2 hours or portion thereof. Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner - You may also have us film the rehearsal and /or rehearsal dinner. Standard rate includes one HD camera for 2 hours for each event. Additional camera $50 per hour.

Additional hours, $50 per hour over 2 hours or portion thereof. Raw High Definition Footage We film exclusively in High Definition, and all editing is done on Mac computer systems. Sometimes our clients want the raw footage, which is everything we filmed that day. HD cameras produce very large files, and the only way to provide the raw footage is to put it on an external hard drive. If you want this, the fee includes an external hard drive, formatted for a Mac system. Please be aware that you will probably need a Mac computer to play these movies. $200 for this service, which includes a hard drive. What to Expect from Your Video We want to be completely honest and fair with you, before you order your videos, about what to expect. Every day you see on TV and in movies beautifully filmed and edited productions that are amazingly well done. We tend to become accustomed to this quality, and when we pay for a video service, we might expect that this is the quality we will receive. But please understand, there is a world of difference between filming a live event and a studio production! Your wedding is the most difficult kind of filming challenge there is: a live event. If you watch closely, even the Academy Award program, watched by hundreds of millions of people, will have some of the imperfections we list below, and they have ideal camera placements, audio and lighting to work with! So, please do not expect a Hollywood movie. Our goal is to strike a balance between a Hollywood movie and the video your uncle can produce using a home video camera. We are miles beyond your uncle s video, but we do not claim to be at a Hollywood level. In order to attempt such a thing would require extra rehearsals, a minimum of 4 cameras, special lighting, a director, cameras set up in prime locations (and very noticeable), microphones for everyone, instructions to the guests and a cost that would exceed $5,000 for the ceremony alone. Other than the cost, the problem is that the video production would interfere with the event! We believe we have a very reasonable cost and produce a beautiful video with excellent quality. What should you expect as normal? Typical Issues Momentarily out of focus. In live events the lighting changes rapidly. The camera has to adjust, and you might occasionally see a shot out of focus for a short time. Camera movement. Even with a tripod, on zoom (such as from a balcony) there will be some occasional shaking. Balconies shake slightly when people walk by, and we cannot close the area off to musicians, staff or photographers. Floors shake. It s a fact of life we never notice until we have a camera on 20X zoom! Even more so when we are filming at a reception where we must move the camera constantly and cannot always be set up on a tripod. Please expect some camera movement and occasional slight shaking. Difference in transitions. We include beautiful fades between clips to make your video as beautiful as possible. Sometimes a clip will not allow transitions for technical reasons. You should expect some clips not to have transitions. Editing decisions. We must make the decisions on what to include in your final video. You might wish we'd used the wedding kiss from the balcony instead of from a side view. We spend many hours reviewing your video to choose the best shots. (For example, there might have been a problem with the balcony view.) Our experience in editing is part of the service we are providing. We cannot change these things in the final version of your movie without significant additional charges. Music Selection. Our contract allows you to guide us in our music selections, and you are welcome to make specific requests when you turn in your contract and we will see what we can do. You need to discuss this with us in advance; otherwise you will have to pay additional charges for changes to your completed video. Lighting. We cannot control the lighting in live events. Some shots are dark, some very bright. We have good equipment and will do our best to get good shots, but if your event was done in low light, you should expect some dark, somewhat grainy video. For example, ceremony aisle shots

are usually lower light, and you will probably notice a decrease in the quality. Thankfully, they are usually only a few seconds long. Sound. Since your event was not recorded in a studio, the audio on your video will vary. We have excellent mics, but they are limited by the circumstances. Please expect some imperfections with audio including slight hissing, occasional popping and volume variations. We hope this helps you know what to expect from your video. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your cooperation. Disclaimer: You should realize that many things can happen in filming live video, and we cannot absolutely guarantee the delivery of these services, (though we ve never failed to make delivery). Weather (for outdoor events), lighting, venue policies, personnel issues, equipment failure and other circumstances can all interfere or prevent adequate filming or editing of these events. In the extremely unlikely event that we fail to deliver these services and you are not satisfied with the results, the most we might offer is to return your money. We accept no responsibility beyond that. If you are unwilling to take the risk that we might fail to get some or all of this event, you should arrange for a back up service or individual(s) to insure some coverage of your event. Prices subject to change. Non-refundable deposit required to secure dates. See contract for details.

Music Preferences (Return to Diane's Video) We use some music as background in portions of your movies (except the ceremony). You are welcome to make specific requests, but please be aware that the choice of music can radically affect the "feel" of a movie, and you are paying for our experience and judgment in editing your movies. Also, some songs may not work for technical reasons, such as being too long or too short. If you have a specific request, please discuss this with us when you turn in your contract. We want to know the type of music you prefer, which will help us find the right background for you. Music Preferences This is not a commitment to use a particular song or artist, just as a sense of what type of music you prefer. Examples Don t Like It s Okay Love It Classical New Classical Romantic Jazz Traditional Country Country Soft Rock/Romantic Pop Hard Rock Rap/pop mix Contemporary Christian Other -Use below Pachelbel's Canon in D Gladiator's Soundtrack (Celtic, romantic) Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack Michael Buble Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn Marc Broussard, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood Whitney Houston, Elton John Adele, Van Morrison Rolling Stones Toby Mac, Le Crae Michael W. Diane s Video Services Contract Signature Page (Please sign and return to Diane s Video) A $50 booking deposit is required to secure the date. Deposit will be forfeited if wedding is canceled or the date is changed. The client should expect a minimum of 12 weeks from the event until the delivery of the video. Payment of pre-wedding day services (such as Memories video) is non-refundable and is due even in the event of cancellation or postponement. (We will have done the work already.) All other payments are due when DVS arrives at the event. It is the sole responsibility of the client to secure permission to film from the church or other facilities management personnel. DVS will abide by all rules of the church or facility regarding filming, camera placement, etc. DVS will take utmost care to produce videos of superior quality, however we will not be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including, but not limited to, power failure, equipment malfunction, defective recording media, or client misuse of equipment. In the case of a mistake by DVS, refunds will be negotiated. If filming is prevented, all monies, less deposit, will be refunded. DVS makes no guarantees, either expressed or implied, in regard to the aesthetic qualities of the completed video. The client must realize that a wedding is the most difficult thing to film in all the film industry - a live event. Elements such as lighting and camera placement will make all the difference in the quality of the video. It is the client s responsibility to work with DVS to plan the event in such a way that superior video is possible. It is understood that DVS is the sole videographer at this event, and that others taking videos may do so only at our discretion. (Having a friend/ family member take footage as a back up is fine, but they must agree not to interfere with DVS.) DVS reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason at any time. In the highly unlikely event that DVS should terminate the contract, all monies for services not yet performed or products not yet delivered, will be refunded. Under any and all circumstances, the total liability of DVS is limited to the monies paid by client. All audio and video is copyrighted by DVS. DVS reserves the right to use any or all footage for promotional, publication or other uses. Great videos don't just happen; you have to work at them. We cannot get good video if the best man just pops up and starts his toast while we are on the opposite side of the room filming a guest! You will be disappointed in the result when your reception video only has half the toast. It is absolutely essential that you give us time before letting these events take place. If you do not warn us when events are going to happen, we cannot be responsible for missing them. Please let us know a few minutes before you are going to cut the cake, begin the toasts or have a family member pray before the meal, etc. If you have a D.J., please make sure you instruct them to warn us before starting things you want filmed. Please work with us. You will be glad you did. I understand that the videographer needs time to set up for shots and will try to make sure DVS is told when something is about to happen. (Please initial) Photographers work hard on posing their subjects, and some do not want a videographer to film while they shoot. We understand this issue, however, from our perspective we d

say: 1. We never sell still photos, so we are not in competition with the photographer. 2. What we use from the posed shots primarily is the candid moments before and after. 3. There is not enough time for us to pose separate video shots, and if we did, the photographer s time would be severely limited. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the client to discuss this with your photographer before the event and secure an understanding that we will be allowed full, unhindered access to the shots we need. We will work diligently to cooperate with the photographer as well. I HAVE READ, FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS CONTRACT. Bride Date Groom Date
