Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager server discovery The Management application enables you to discover Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager (VCEM) servers. Beginning with Brocade Network Advisor 12.4.0 release, VCEM server version 7.4.1 is supported. You must use pre-12.4.x releases to run VCEM server versions 6.2 or 7.1. You can discover up to 2 VCEM servers. VCEM is not supported on Professional and Professional Plus licenses of the Brocade Network Advisor. You cannot discover VCEM servers from an IBM Network Advisor. VCEM Server discovery of HP Network Advisor is not supported on the Professional Plus Edition (PPE). VCEM server discovery of HP Network Advisor is supported only on the Enterprise Edition (EE). Discovering a VCEM server To discover a VCEM server, complete the following steps. 1.
