The driver includes the Universal Switch and Universal Control, to be able to interact RTI with the hdl bus-pro, sending commands and receiving feedback. 2

Driver Option There are two versions of the driver: -Light version: two-way control of lights only, management and control of Universal switch and Universal Control. -Full version: adds to the functions of base version, the additional allows the use of the objects already mentioned above, with the addition of sensors, climate control, power meter, and the temperature probes. -Time trial of the full functionality for both versions: 1 hour. Supported Ip Gateway Types The communication between driver RTI and Bus-Pro, can be performed using one of the following IP gateway products from HDL, and allowing two-way communication. Supported models: -SB-DN-RS232IP-PRO. -SB-DN-1IP. -SB-DN-48DMX. All gateways have been tested in our laboratory. Supported Data Types The driver allows exchange data in a bidirectional manner, of the following types of data. - Type On/Off set the command and read the status of lights, and anything that has a binary value - Type Dimmer with regard to the command and feedback of all adjustable lights as 0 to 100 or the 0-255 for DMX - Type temperature, reading and writing temperature set-point, operating mode and time schedules, for the floor heating module and air conditioned module. - Type energy consumption using the power meter ( mono phase and 3 phase). - The state of sensors, temperature, infrared light, air quality, ultrasound. - Writing and reading on HDL bus through special system commands called Universal Control and Universal Switch. 3

Configure System_Settings On this screen you can configure the driver, and especially the relevant controller. The driver has been directly tested in the laboratory, for various modules. 4

Configure General Settings -Subnet ID: This screen is used to configure the sub-net of HDL bus to be controlled and commanded, in our case it is the first allowed values range from 1 to 255. -ID RTI: Address of RTI processor inside the bus-hdl (it s unique ) -HDL Gateway IP Address: HDL address of gateway, set by default as 192.168.10.250 -Temperature Scale: Reading of temperature with the possibility of having the value in Celsius or Fahrenheit 5

Configure Output Modules Modules quantity: This value indicates the number of HDL modules to be imported in RTI, there is no limit to the number, the more modules, the more tha RTI controller is loaded. Name: Name that identifies the name of the module into the RTI system, may be different from the name added to HDL. N Outputs: Number of outputs of the corresponding module in (depends on the module type). Subnet: The subnet number which the module is inserted in (must be the same entered in the general options). ID: The ID number of Module in the HDL BUS. Module Type: You can choose between the following types of outputs: 6

1- Relay: for all output type on / off. 2- Dimmable: for all outputs adjustable dimmer, fall into this category, even DMX modules, and light dimmers and DALI. 3- Module Curtain: used to insert the curtain control modules. 4- Adjustable Curtain Module: used to enter the Curtain with feedback. Configure Universal Switch The Universal Switch are the triggers that HDL provides that can be used by the driver to perform actions on RTI supervision system. Switch quantity: This value indicates the maximum number of Universal Switches that you can import from HDL, this value maximum is 100. Name Switch: Name of Universal switch displayed in the interface of the RTI programming. ID Switch 1: Number of the Universal Switch assigned in HDL software can be 0 to 255. 7

Configure Universal Control The Universal Control are commands that the RTI system may send on the bus HDL, allowing a great amount of interactions, or sending command strings in hex, the maximum number of Universal Control are 100. Commands quantity: Number of commands sent by RTI to HDL. Command name: Name of command displayed in RTI. Function number Command: Value expressed in hexadecimal, which will be performed by HDL and which can bind to a command. N Options for Command parameter: Number of values that the command can take, 1 min up to a maximum of 10. Option: Is the value that goes way every time you send the command is expressed in hexadecimal. 8

Configure Climate Modules Quantity of Climate Modules: Represents the number of air conditioning control modules in the HDL bus, you can insert up to 50 modules. Name: Climate module name displayed on RTI. Subnet: The subnet number which the module is inserted in (must be the same as entered in the general options) ID: The number ID of Module in the HDL BUS. Module Type: You can choose between two types of climate control HVAC or Floor Heating / Cooling. Control Type CHx: You can choose between two types of thermostat Floor Heating or Cooling. 9

Configure Temperature Temperature quantity: Represents the number of air conditioning control modules in the HDL bus, you can insert up to 50 modules. Name: Temperature module name displayed on RTI. Subnet: The subnet number which the module is inserted in (must be the same as entered in the general options) ID: The number ID of Module in the HDL BUS. Channel: Number of the temperature sensor channel. Old: Tick OLD if the temperature probe is part of a series with old firmware / Hardware. 10

Configure Sensors Sensor Quantity: Represents the number of air conditioning control modules present in the HDL bus, you can insert up to 50 modules. Name: Temperature module name displayed on RTI. Subnet: The subnet number which the module is inserted in (must be the same as entered in the general options) ID: The number ID of Module in the HDL BUS. Module Type: You can select the type of form from the following types: -generic: For all the following models MSP07M.4C, SB-CMS-RIP, SB-CMS-THL, SB-CMS-LA. -8 In 1: for SB-CMS-8in1 model. -12 In 1: for SB-CMS-12in1 model. 11

Configure Power Meter Power meter quantity: Represents the number of air conditioning control modules in the HDL bus, you can insert up to 50 modules. Name: Temperature module name displayed on RTI. Subnet: The subnet number which the module is inserted in (must be the same as entered in the general options). ID: The number ID of Module in the HDL BUS. 12

Configure Licence Licence Key: Entering the license key combined with the mac-address of the RTI processor, unlocks the driver with no time limit. The driver works unlicensed completely for 1 hour from starting the RTI controller, then it crashes. There are two licenses for the driver: -Light: it only allows control of lights and blinds. -Full: allows control of all the HDL object implemented in the driver. 13
