Pardubice Region Basic information The Pardubice region is located in eastern Bohemia, roughly in the centre of the Czech Republic. The largest cities in the region are: Pardubice, Chrudim, Ústí nad Orlicí and Svitavy. The region s economy is based on industry, and on commercial and public services. The structure of industrial production is varied. The realized of the construction and modernization of both railway and highway (D11) connections benefits the region enormously. Air and river transport are also available. The region s EBA public international airport is a part of the nationwide network and has potential as a future small-scale transport hub. The international airport in Prague is only 100 km away.
