1 Install TV Brackets Before you begin, hand thread screws into the threaded inserts on the back of your TV to determine the correct screw diameter (M4, M6, or M8). Verify that there are adequate threads to secure the brackets to the monitor. If you encounter resistance, stop immediately and contact customer service. CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injuries and property damage! Use the shortest screw and spacer combination to accommodate your needs. Using hardware that is too long may damage your monitor s internal components. 4

1-2 Attach horizontal brackets 1. Slide the horizontal brackets [04] and [05] onto the vertical brackets and [03]. Make sure that they are evenly spaced left to right. 2. Install screws [22] to lock horizontal brackets [04] and [05] in position. 1 [04] [05] [03] 2 [04] [04] [22] [03] [05] [22] 7

2 Mount the Wall Plate 13 mm (1/2 in.) Wood Stud 1. 2. Locate stud. Verify the center of the stud with an awl or thin nail or use an edge to edge stud finder. CAUTION: To avoid potential injuries or property damage: Ù Any material covering the wall must not exceed 16 mm (5/8 in.). Ù Minimum wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (nominal 1.5 x 3.5 in.) Level the wall plate and mark the hole locations. 3. Drill pilot holes as illustrated. 4. 5.5 mm (7/32 in.) Tighten the lag bolts [08] only until the washers [07] are pulled firmly against the wall plate. CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. To avoid potential injuries or property damage: DO NOT over-tighten the lag bolts [08]. CAUTION: To avoid potential injuries or property damage: Pilot holes MUST be drilled to a depth of 75 mm (3 in.), using a 5.5 mm (7/32 in.) diameter drill bit. 1 < 16 mm (5/8 in.) 2 4 3 75 mm (3 in.) 2 Mount the Wall Plate 13mm (1/2 in.) Solid Concrete and Concrete Block 1. Level wall plate and mark the hole locations. 3. Insert lag bolt anchors [06]. Be sure the anchors [06] are seated flush with the concrete surface. 4. Tighten the lag bolts [08] only until the washers [07] are pulled firmly against the wall plate. CAUTION: To avoid potential injuries or property damage: Ù Mount wall plate directly onto the concrete surface. Ù Minimum solid concrete thickness: 8 in. Ù Minimum concrete block size: 8 x 8 x 16 in. 2. Drill pilot holes as illustrated. 10mm (3/8 in.) CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. To avoid potential injuries or property damage: DO NOT over-tighten the lag bolts [08]. CAUTION: To avoid potential injuries or property damage: 75 mm 3 in. Ù Pilot holes MUST be drilled to a depth of 75 mm (3 in.), using a 10 mm (3/8 in.) diameter drill bit. Ù Never drill into the mortar between blocks. 2 1 3 [06] 4 [08] [06] [07] 9

3 Hang the TV/Bracket Assembly onto the Swing Arm HEAVY! You will need assistance with this step. Level the TV/bracket assembly and install the washer [20] and retaining screw [21]. CAUTION: Avoid potential injuries or property damage! Be sure to install the washer [20] and retaining screw [21] securely. This will prevent the TV from separating away from the mount. 4 Manage Cables NOTE: Be sure to leave enough slack in the cables to allow the monitor to move freely. 1 2 3 11
