VISION The vision of Kenyatta University is to be a dynamic, inclusive and competitive Centre of excellence in teaching, learning, research and service to community. MODE OF STUDY The programmes are offered in various mode of study which include; full-time, institution based, part-time and open learning. (a) Full-Time Programmes Students will join this mode of study undertake full-time studies in the various campuses which include; Kenyatta University, Parklands, Ruiru, Mombasa and Kitui. (b) Institution Based Programmes Institution based programmes are offered in the months of April, August and December (c) Part Time Programmes. The classes are usually conducted in the evenings and on weekends. (d) Open Learning Programmes. The Open Learning mode of study uses various methods to deliver course content to student which include modules ( print based materials), recorded audio and video tapes tutorials and internet. CREDIT WAIVER Prospective students for Bachelors degrees who are holders of Diploma from recognized colleges may qualify for credit waiver. They must apply for such waiver through the respective departments.
