1 THE KENYA NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL PROMOTING ALTERNATIVE PATH TO UNIVERSITY EDUCATION THROUGH BUSINESS, TECHNICAL AND TEACHER EDUCATION COURSES EXAMINED BY KNEC The Kenya National Examinations Council offers examinations for courses aimed at equipping KCPE and KCSE certificate holders with technical, vocational and entrepreneurial skills that will help facilitate their full participation in productive activities. Holders of KCPE and KCSE certificates are encouraged to register for these courses which are offered in colleges / institutions approved by the Government Ministry responsible for Post School Technical and Business Education and Teacher Education Programmes.
