THE REASON The wrap statistics are amazing and plentiful. When compared to other forms of advertising, wraps are unbelievably cost effective. You may spend between 2k and 5k one time for your wrap, less if you are doing spot graphics or simple decaling. It will be at work for you for as long as you choose to leave it on. A wrap functions similar to a billboard and reaches about as many people every day. If you are on the road often you will reach between 30,000 and 70,000 people a day! A day! That is 10 million to 25 million impressions a year. The best thing is there are no renewal fees, no management fees, nothing except solid return on a one time investment. Also you are not sharing space on the same page with your direct competition like in most phonebooks or online directories. 90% of travelers / commuters notice vehicle graphics on the road and 75% of them will make a judgment to use your company on the spot. Soapoint is aware of all of this and we put thought based around these numbers into every wrap we design, print and install. Wrap your ride! THE WRAP A vehicle wrap is basically a large sticker. The material we use is a very technologically advanced vinyl sticker. We always only use premium vinyl and materials for all our graphics and wraps. We print with full color digital printing on the vinyl, and can create almost anything you can dream up. In addition, we use a protective laminate over the vinyl to make your wrap more durable. This protects the wrap from everyday wear and tear. You may also have a material used for your window graphics called window perf. Window perf will allow your graphic to continue onto your rear and back passenger and driver side windows, but still allow you to see out. There are use and cleaning restrictions with window perf., so be sure to check out our Vehicle Graphics Care and Maintenance sheet for more info. All our graphics and wraps are installed by trained and skilled wrap technicians. Typically vehicle graphics and wraps will last 3-5 years; if they are taken care of and garaged regularly it can last much longer. THE PROCESS If possible we here at Soapoint like to take photos of the exact vehicle and make our templates from those. When that is not possible, say you are out of state, we use pre-fabricated photo templates of your specific vehicle. We then do a design consultation and begin to gather elements for your wrap, such as logo, photos, and any other creative elements that we may want to use. On occasion we will do our own photo shoots to ensure high quality output of your wrap. Design services are available for logo work etc, if you do not have that already. We love logos. After we gather everything we need we will disappear into the studio for a day or so designing to your vision. Proofs are then submitted for approval. It may take a round or two to get exactly where we need to be. Then we print, laminate, install and get you back on the road to success. THE TIME FRAME Typically we can turn a wrap 5-7 days; depending on the amount of design that needs to be done and how prepared the client is prior to production. We will typically need your vehicle for two days, depending on the wrap. We are available to work with you on schedule and we are known to work weekends to ensure you don't miss any business days. We do work with people on special circumstances so don t be afraid to contact us if you have a dilemma. THE OUT-OF-TOWNER We can absolutely still work with you if you are out of town, out of the state or even out of the country. We can handle all of the consultation, design and production here. Then we carefully package and ship to a 3M certified installer in your area where the installation will be done. This process still carries our stamp of approval and we work with only certified install technicians to guarantee the success of your installation. THE CARE AND MAINTENANCE Taking care of your new wrap is key in its longevity. Carefully review and read your Soapoint Vehicle Wrap Care and Maintenance sheet for full details and information. The more you take care of your wrap, the better it will look and longer it will last
INSTALLATION/REMOVAL DISCLAIMER 1) All vehicles must be cleaned and washed before we can accept them for vehicle graphics. They must be free from all dirt and debris. If the vehicle does not come clean we will charge a $75 Cleaning Fee. Once we have your clean vehicle, we wipe down the vehicle with a certified cleaning agent. All graphics should be removed prior to installation, if they are not we will charge a removal fee depending on the graphics that need to be removed. 2) All vehicles must have a proper paint finish (automotive grade paint, NOT PRIMER). All paint must be clean without rust or corrosion. If the vehicle s finish is not in good condition, all vinyl installed will not be warranted. 3) All extra options on the vehicle that inhibit the installation of graphics must be removed prior, by the client. Examples: RV awning, ladders, special lights, speakers, roof racks, etc. If we are required to remove any of these items, there will be a charge of $75.00 per hour to remove and reinstall these items. Items that we will remove at no charge are mirrors, reflectors, lights and small emblems. We remove these items to ensure the best possible installation and final appearance of your wrap. GRAPHICS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSES DUE TO THE REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION OF THESE ITEMS. 4) When we install vehicle graphics we use knifes to cut the vinyl. Sometimes the knife can cause small lines in the paint finish of the vehicle and when the vinyl is removed the lines may be seen. These are typically only on the clear coat and can be buffed out by an auto paint professional. This is accepted as an industry standard way of installing graphics and needs to be understood by the owner of the vehicle. Soapoint Graphics and the manufacturer of the vinyl do not cover this damage under their/our warranty. 5) Vinyl Removal-When we remove vinyl from a vehicle we use a heat process to soften up the vinyl, that helps make it easier to remove. In some cases the vinyl removes paint from the vehicle surface because the paint was not properly applied to the surface or has been damaged while the vinyl was on the vehicle. If the surface that has the vinyl on is damaged, the surface must be repainted before new graphics can be applied. GRAPHICS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE DUE TO VINYL BEING REMOVED. 6) Installing vinyl around door handles, mirrors, door locks, wiper mounts, antenna, roof racks, etc. is very difficult and sometimes impossible to make look perfect. It is common to cut the vinyl around these areas and piece in extra vinyl to cover the extra body areas that the vinyl could not cover. 7) You can expect that the vinyl will have small wrinkles, bubbles and minor imperfections. You need to understand that this is not paint. If you expect a perfect vehicle graphic that is flawless, than an airbrush paint job is the best way to proceed. Whether you are a huge corporation or a lone man with some sick Soapoint graphics there are many ways to get the maximum impact from your vehicle wrap. Make your wrap work for you the way you want it to, here are some tips from our experience. 1) Always park in highly visible/high traffic areas. Park near busy roads, near the edges of parking lots by the street, in front of your business (this is a sign), at your home, anywhere you go, remember People are Looking! 2) Keep your vehicle clean. Your graphics will draw people s attention, and they will be looking at your vehicle. Make sure it looks good by always keeping the exterior clean and free from debris. Also, be mindful of the interior as well; people will come up to take a closer look at your graphics and may be able to see inside of your vehicle too. Soapoint can refer for window tint. 3) Drive carefully! This is important, especially if you are driving a company vehicle with graphics. You are representing the company when you are driving so be mindful of your driving actions. Your graphics will get you noticed on the road and you want to ensure you make a good impression with them. 4) When you are parking your vehicle for long periods of time or in repetitive positions, rotate your vehicle. It is important to keep your vehicle from becoming overexposed from the sun on any side more than the other. The sun can fade the vehicle graphics so you want to make sure they stay looking even, by rotating your vehicle, occasional waxing will help prevent sun related damage. 5) People are going to come up and ask you about your vehicle graphics so be prepared to talk to them. Don t be scared! They are excited to find out about your company and services. So tell them about them! Be prepared to answer questions what you do. If they ask about the wrap, send them to Soapoint, we have referral programs. 6) Keep some swag in your vehicle if it fits your purpose. When people come up and admire your vehicle graphics it is always nice to have some business cards, stickers, flyers, apparel etc. to hand out to people. Congratulations again! Enjoy your new Soapoint graphics on your vehicle!
Congratulations on your new custom vehicle wrap from Soapoint Graphics! Now that you are one of the privileged people to own a Soapoint vehicle wrap, we will tell you how to best care for your wrap so that you can get the maxium impact and life out of it. The more you care for your vehicle graphics the better the will look and the longer they will last. CAR WASH WITH BRUSH SYSTEM We advise to never use a car/truck wash with any brushes on your vehicle wrap. Brushes may loosen the edges on your wrap which can lead to further damage. The brushes can also hold dirt and particles that might dull or scratch the finish of your wrap. PRESSURE WASHING We advise against pressure washing. If you are inclined to do so, here are some helpful tips: Pressure wash your vehicle from front to back; this is because of the way we lay the vinyl. Keep the wand at an angle to the vehicle to avoid getting water underneath the pressure sensitive adhesive vinyl and avoid lessening it s adhesion to the vehicles surface, causing the vinyl to lift, peel and/or curl. Never get closer than 20 with the wand and make sure you use 2,000 PSI pressure or less, water temperature at 180 Degress F or less, with a 40 wide spray pattern and nozzle protector. DO NOT PRESSURE WASH WINDOW PERF, IT WILL BE DESTROYED. HAND WASH This is the preferred method of cleaning your vehicle wrap. Use a mild soap and water solution (no solvents) and a soft cloth, sponge or brush. Avoid scrubbing and make sure to rinse away dirt and particles with clean water. DO NOT USE CLEANERS WITH AMMONIA OR BLEACH. WAX We highly recommend you wax your vehicle wrap at least once a year. It will help to maintain the high shine and prolong the life of the graphics. The best wax is liquid, which is easier to apply. In most cases, the wax will take out some stains you may acquire on the wrap. Especially in our Colorado climate, it is important to wax your vehicle wrap. DO NOT WAX WINDOW PERF. SNOW REMOVAL Only use a soft brush, never use a scraper as this could damage the wrap. If you wax the vinyl, the snow should come off easier. NEVER SCRAPE WINDOW PERF. PEELING OR LIFTING If you ever see any part of your vehicle wrap lifting or peeling, you must contact us IMMEDIATELY so we can fix the problem. If you leave such issues unatteneded, you will void the warranty on your wrap. NEVER USE WINDOW WIPERS ON WINDOW PERF. INSURANCE Most insurance companies offer a special policy to cover vehicle wraps. Contact your insurance company for more information and details. If you ever have any questions or concerns when it comes to the care and maintenance of your vehicle wrap please contact us.
