1 Relativity Training Overview kcura recommends that all new employees working with Relativity receive formal training, either by our training department or internally. This ensures an easy transition for all users and those who support them. 1.1 Training Offerings We offer a variety of training courses to help users excel in using Relativity, including standard in-person training, webinar training and customized in-person training from our advice@kcura team. These offerings are listed below; complete training details are provided in subsequent sections. 1.1.1 In-Person Training The following courses are offered as one- or two day in-person classes taught by an experienced kcura instructor. Administrative Training Relativity Analytics Training Relativity Assisted Review Training Infrastructure Training Processing Training Applications Training Legal Hold Training Collection Training 1.1.2 Webinars We offer the following webinars on a recurring basis: Reviewer Training Relativity Assisted Review for Administrators Relativity Assisted Review for End Users Advanced Searching Building Relativity Applications Legal Hold Relativity Collection In addition, we offer regular Ask the Expert webinars that provide a rotating list of relevant presentation topics in areas such as Analytics and Infrastructure. 1.1.3 advice@kcura Day The advice@kcura Day is a one day, hands on, in-person class taught by a member of kcura s advice@kcura team that provides attendees with a deep dive into optimized workflows and customized use cases. 1.2 Training Locations We offer our trainings at our Chicago office, on the road in our major markets, and onsite at your office. Note, in order to schedule onsite training, you must be able to connect to our training servers. 3

1.3 Pricing Any pricing listed is for one trainer covering the predefined agendas. If additional trainers or specialized agendas are requested, a separate quote will be issued. 1.4 Payment kcura accepts checks, ACH payments, credit cards and wire transfers. 1.5 Cancellation Policy kcura s training cancellation policy is outlined below. 1.5.1 Open Enrollment - Individual Pay Training fees must be paid before your training. Training fees are non-refundable and not subject to any rescheduling credit, except as provided here. If you are unable to attend a training you ve registered for, please contact the kcura training team at least two business days prior to the training to reschedule. In that case, we will apply the fee you pre-paid as a credit for the rescheduled training fee. However, if you cancel or reschedule within two business days of the training, no refund or credit will be issued. If you reschedule a training more than three times, we may consider your training as having been cancelled and require a new fee in order to reschedule the training again. Any credit applied to your account will expire twelve months after the date of original issue. 1.5.2 Open Enrollment - Company Pay Upon registering for a training session, your company will be invoiced for the full cost of the training, which must be paid within 30 days. Training fees are non-refundable and not subject to any rescheduling credit, except as provided here. If you are unable to attend a training you ve registered for, please contact the kcura training team at least two business days prior to the training to reschedule. If a training session is cancelled or rescheduled with at least ten business days prior to the training, your company will not incur any cost. If the training session is cancelled or rescheduled within ten business days of the session, your company will be required to pay any fees incurred by kcura for travel and shipment of materials. 4

2 Relativity Administrative Training Relativity Administrative training is a two day, hands-on, in-person class. Designed for Relativity beginners, Administrative Training is an introductory course to the Relativity platform and gives users a foundation of the basic concepts, features, and terminology used throughout the application. We recommend attending this course before attending any other in-person Relativity training course. Please note that Administrative training is not a Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) exam preparation course. 2.1 Course Overview Administrative training walks an attendee through the entire Relativity case lifecycle. Each attendee will start with an empty case. They will create fields, load data, establish workflow rules, report on their data, run productions, and export the data. Audience: Litigation support and project management staff Course Length: Two days 2.2 How to Attend Trainings are available in our Chicago office and at other locations. Attendance in Administrative training is recommended before attending this training. 3.1 Course Overview Relativity Analytics training walks attendees through several training scenarios that demonstrate how Analytics helps users organize, search, analyze, and review data. 4 Relativity Assisted Review Training Relativity Assisted Review training is a one day class that teaches the fundamentals needed for managing a computerassisted review project. Attendance in Analytics training is recommended before attending this training. 4.1 Course Overview Relativity Assisted Review training provides attendees with the knowledge to utilize Assisted Review s flexible predictive coding workflow that combines both human expertise and powerful technology. This training will walk attendees through the recommended workflows to review large volumes of electronic information, reducing risk and cost. Audience: Project managers, consultants, litigation support professionals, and Relativity administrators Course Length: One day 4.2 How to Attend Trainings are available in our Chicago office and at other locations. 5 Relativity Infrastructure Training Relativity Infrastructure training is a one day, hands-on, in-person class that teaches attendees how to manage their Relativity environment and databases. Attendance in Administrative training is recommended before attending this training. 5.1 Course Overview Infrastructure training provides attendees with the tools to understand, scale, and maintain their Relativity environment. Throughout the course of the training, attendees will examine the servers that comprise an optimized Relativity environment, perform an upgrade, learn best practices for maintenance, and understand how to identify performance issues experienced by end users. Audience: IT professionals responsible for maintaining servers and SQL environments Course Length: One day 5.2 How to Attend Trainings are available in our Chicago office and at other locations. 6 Relativity Processing Training Relativity Processing training is a one day, hands-on, in-person class that teaches attendees how to use Relativity s processing solution to import unprocessed source data directly into Relativity for review. Attendance in Administrative training is recommended before attending this training. 6.1 Course Overview Processing training walks an attendee through the end-to-end processing workflow. Attendees will start by installing the Processing application, then work through multiple workspace scenarios to configure processing settings, discover files, resolve file errors, and publish to Relativity for document review. They will also learn about file inventory and filtering, QC/ reporting features, and best practices. 7 Applications Training Applications training is a one day, hands-on, in-person class that guides attendees through the process of creating an application in Relativity. Attendance in Administrative training is recommended before attending this training. 7.1 Course Overview Applications training gives attendees a general overview of how to conceptualize an application to fit a particular need. Attendees will then gain hands-on experience in learning about database relationships, Relativity objects, and how multiple objects relate to one another in order to create a number of different types of applications that serve a number of different purposes. 8 Advanced Applications Developer Training Advanced Applications Developer training is a self-paced, independent study course that covers the fundamentals of developing applications on the Relativity platform. 8.1 Course Overview Advanced Applications Developer training presents the participant with basic platform concepts and components. The objective of this course is to create a custom application that illustrates how to use the features and extensibility supported by the Relativity platform. This course provides detailed instructions on how to develop a redistributable Relativity application. Audience: Developers, case managers, and database administrators Course length: 3-5 hours 8.2 Recommended Prerequisites Attendance in Relativity Administrative Training or similar on-the-job training At least 1-2 years of.net/sql Server development experience and a solid understanding of software development Working knowledge of Visual Studio, including Integration with third party APIs Compiling code Debugging applications Familiarity with C# or VB.Net Practical experience with standard SQL operations 8.3 How to Participate The course workbook and associated training files can be downloaded here. 9 Legal Hold Training Legal Hold training is a half-day, hands-on, in-person class that guides attendees through the process of creating a project/ hold in Relativity s Legal Hold application. 9.1 Course Overview Legal Hold training gives attendees a general overview of the legal hold workflow and best practices. Attendees will gain hands-on experience creating projects/holds and custodians, and through sending communications and questionnaires. Attendees will also use the custodian portal to answer a questionnaire before closing their hold. Audience: Anyone new to legal hold (including, but not limited to project managers, hold administrators, general counsel, IT, Relativity administrators) Course Length: Half day 9.2 How to Attend Trainings are available in our Chicago office and at other locations. 10 Collection Training Relativity Collection training is a half-day, hands-on, in-person class that covers the key features of the Relativity Collection Application, including scouting and collecting custodian data remotely, via portable drive, or from a Microsoft Exchange server. 10.1 Course Overview Relativity Collection training gives attendees a hands-on overview of the features available in the Collection application. This includes how to scout a custodian s machine remotely, then create use search, browsing, and filtering options to create a targeted collection from the scouted data. Attendees will also learn how to collect from a portable drive, scout and collect from a Microsoft Exchange server, and generate detailed reports on data scouted and collected.
