Obtained initial financing, paid off initial loan and obtained financing for expansion. After the first year, expanded the business and relocated to highly visible downtown corner. Revenues reached as high as $25,000 annually. Employed graphic arts students on part-time basis to assist in job production. Provided project management leadership for all company operations. Performed all accounting functions, completed all tax forms, scheduled jobs with customers, provided customer service, produced completed printing projects 1977-1979: Cost Accountant. Whiteman Air Force Base, MO. Performed cost accounting functions for the national guard unit stationed at the base, maintained base general ledger, maintained numerous other accounts and reports as assigned. 1977-1985. Income Tax Accountant. Self-employed income tax accountant as well as working in a Beneficial Finance storefront office to provide income tax services. 1987-1992. Database developer and maintenance. Johnson County, Missouri Sheriff s Department. Designed and maintained the Sheriff s Department s first computerized system. Wrote both frontend and backend code, including screens and reports for both the front office and the jail portion of the department. System was used 24- hours a day, seven days a week by deputies and jailers. System was updated each year. New forms and reporting procedures were designed to interface with the computerized system. Continued to update and maintain the system until a law enforcement-specific system was purchased. Database design and management. Designed and maintained databases for several community organizations. 1988: Johnson County Red Cross. Volunteer database; class enrollment database 1993: Martin Warren Elementary School. Created database for school fundraiser. Each student signed up for several activities as part of the fundraiser. Used database to assign and schedule students activities, location of activities and supervising adult. 199: Warrensburg Middle School. Designed database for parent volunteers. Database continued to be used in future years. 1998: Warrensburg High School Band Parents. Designed database for parent volunteers. Database continued to be used for future years. 2003-2005: Johnson County Habitat for Humanity. Installed and maintained database to track volunteers and donors

CIS 385 IBE Practicum 1 CIS 385 IBE Practicum 1 Instructional Innovations Online Curriculum for CIS105 converted all Breeze presentations to Macromedia Captivate. Most skills have two demonstrations: one with voice and visual explanation and a second with visual and text explanation. The two styles are created to meet different learning styles and availability to use sound on a computer. Fall 200-Spring 2007 [L] SynchronEyes Lab Management Software: pilot project with Information Services. Tested all aspects of the SynchronEyes program throughout the semester in the on-campus classes in WDE3120 and conducted a universitywide demonstration of SynchronEyes. Pilot program resulted in Information Services acceptance of SynchronEyes of the campus-wide lab management software. Spring 200 [L] Online Curriculum for CIS105 new material created for online sections. Breeze Meeting was used to create demonstrations of software skills. Breeze Meeting allows recording of voice, keystrokes and desktop to allow students to have similar experience to a traditional on-ground class. All activities regularly done in-class were transferred to Breeze Meeting to give students 24/7 access. Fall 2005 [L] Online Curriculum for CIS105 material created for CIS105 online sections. Online demonstrations of all software skills used in the course created using Macromedia RoboDemo. Approximately 100 different skill demonstrations were created and are available to students to access at any time.
