DA Ferman presented these honors at her Annual Staff Meeting on January 15, 2015. DISTRICT ATTORNEY MEDAL PRESENTED TO DEPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY ROBERT FALIN In recognition of his outstanding work as the Chief of the Appellate Division. DDA Falin took on a well-funded team of anti-death penalty attorneys from the Federal Public Defender s Office who represented John Eichinger, who was convicted in 2005 of the brutal murders of three members of the Greaves family and the 1999 murder of Jennifer Still. Eichinger was sentenced to three death sentences. On December 31, 2014, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court upheld the conviction and sharply criticized the agenda-driven Federal Defenders for abusing the system and wasting taxpayer time and money. In the case of Christopher Johnson, who was convicted of murdering Wildlife Conservation Officer David Grove in Adams County, DDA Falin volunteered his time to argue the appeal before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. On December 30, 2014 the Supreme Court upheld the first degree murder conviction and death sentence. CHARLES CRAIG INVESTIGATIVE ANALYST
