However, ICSC member benefits include a significant discount off the standard fee. The non-refundable processing fee for a candidate s eligibility application is $95 for ICSC members ($195 for non-members.) In addition, the fee for each exam appointment is $395 for ICSC members ($795 for nonmembers.) Exam appointment fees are refundable, conditions apply. While there are no required educational courses for certification eligibility and this knowledge may be obtained in any manner, participation in organized, structured study programs is highly recommended. ICSC offers a variety of study aids to candidates who must develop a personal plan to prepare for an examination based on their own level of experience and areas of expertise. Examination Once eligible, certification is then achieved through completion of a rigorous half-day written examination, developed according to strict psychometric standards. ABOUT THE PROGRAM The ICSC/MECSC Schools for Professional Development (Levels 1 & 2) are 5-day programs leading to an ICSC Certificate. The programs cover a comprehensive, concentrated, rigorous course taught by prominent shopping centre industry experts from the USA, Europe and the Middle East who serve as faculty. It is designed to ensure that participants will learn how to develop, lease, market and operate a shopping centre successfully. The two-level courses, scheduled over five days, provide powerful tools and information that can be applied immediately when participants return to their work.
