Voicemail Check Voicemail From your phone Press the Messages button You will be prompted to enter your password (the default password is 3324), followed by # From another phone in the district Press the Messages button You will hear the recorded name of the person whose phone you are using Press* You will be prompted to enter your ID (this means your extension), followed by # You will be prompted to enter your password, followed by # From a phone outside the district Dial 533-(Your Extension) When the Cisco Unity Messaging automated recording begins, press * You will be prompted to enter your ID (this means your extension) followed by # You will be prompted to enter your password, followed by # Initial Voicemail Options: After listening to a message To forward a message Press 1 To play messages Press 1 To repeat message Finish listening to the message Press 2 To send message Press 2 To save message or Press 3 To review old messages Press 3 To delete message Press # to stop the message Press 4 To access Setup Options Press 4 To reply to message Press 5 to forward the message Press 0 To access help feature Press 5 To forward message Press ## to enter the extension Press * To exit voicemail Press 6 To mark it new to forward the message to Press 7 To skip back (rewind) Enter the Extension, followed by # Press 9 To hear message properties The extension will be repeated. To exit voicemail Press * and hang up the handset Leave a Voicemail Message without Calling the Recipient Press the Message Button When prompted to enter you password, instead press# When the Cisco Unity Messaging automated recording begins, dial the person's Extension Number Listen to the person's greeting and then leave your message or To bypass the person's greeting, wait until it begins and then press # Forwarding All Calls to Voicemail or to Another Phone Call Forward Press the CFwdALL soft key Listen for the two beeps, and then enter the destination phone number To Forward to a Phone inside LTISD Enter Extension Only To Forward to a Phone Outside LTISD Enter '9" + number To Forward directly to Voicemail Press the Messages button Your LCD screen should now read "Forwarded to" the location you selected Cancel Call Forward Press the CFwdALL soft key A beep confirms cancellation of call forwarding, and your LCD screen no longer reads "Forwarded to" Placing a Call on Hold / Answering a Second Call Place a Call on Hold Pick up a Call this is on Hold Answer a Second Call Press the Hold soft key If only one call is on hold To Automatically Place First Call on Hold Be certain the call is highlighted Press to Answer soft key Press the Scroll Key to scroll up or down to highlight the call To End First Call Before Answering Press the Resume soft key Second Call Press the End Call Soft key to end If more than one call is on hold first call Press the Scroll Key to highlight the Press the Answer soft key to answer call you want to pick up second call Press the Resume soft key

Corporate Directory Press the Select soft key to select your choice Press the Scroll key to scroll up or down to a phone number To dial a Call in the Missed Calls, Received Calls, Placed Calls Directories: Press the Scroll key to highlight the number to call If the Number is an Extension Inside LTISD * Press the Dial soft key If the Number is a Local Call * Press the EditDial soft key * Delete the area code if it appears. Use the >> soft key to more the cursor to the right of the area code, and then use the << soft key to delete the area code. * Your cursor should now be to the left of the phone number. Enter a "9" in front of the number. * Press the Dial soft key To exit the Directories, press the Exit soft key Advanced Features: Parking, Group Pick Up, Meet Me Conference Park and Retrieve a Call Group Pick Up Meet Me Conference While on a active call: Pick up the handset, press the Speaker To arrange and open a Meet me (Do not place call on hold) button, or press the New Call soft key Conference: Press the More soft key for dial tone Get a Meet Me number from the Press the Park soft key Press the More soft key system administrator Note the assigned Parking Number, Press the Pickup soft key At conference time, pick up the and hang up Press the Answer soft key handset press the Speaker button, Go to another phone on the system, or press the New Call soft key for dial tone and dial the assigned Parking Number Press the More soft key to recall the parked call Press the Meet Me soft key Dial the assigned Meet Me number To join a Meet Me Conference: Pick up the handset, press the Speaker button, or press the New Call soft key for dial tone Dial the Meet Me conference number

Setting Up Voicemail for the First Time Setting up Voicemail for the First Time From your phone Pick up the handset, press the Speaker button, or press the New Call soft key for dial tone Press the Messages button Enter your password, followed by #. When setting up voicemail for the first time, use the default password 2580 Record your name Press # to accept your recorded name, or press 1 to rerecord your name. Record your greeting. Two example greetings: Teacher example "You have reached. I teach. Please leave your name, phone number, and a short message, and I will return your call. Thank you" Office or Assistant example " You have reached the office of at school / in the LTISD department. I am either away from my desk or on another call. Please leave your name, phone number, and a short message, and I will return your call. Thank you." Press # to accept your recorded greeting, or press 1 to rerecord your greeting. Change your password (Choose a password that is not easy for other to guess.) Enter a new password Reenter the password to confirm that you typed it correctly.
