The Student Orientation Leader position is one of the most exciting leadership opportunities available at Arizona State University. 2013 Student Orientation Leader Job Description Position Description Student Orientation Leaders assist coordinating staff with the implementation of orientation programs, university wide. The goal of orientation programs is to provide keys to academic success for incoming students. Sun Devil Pride is a must! Tips and Hints to a Successful Candidacy Assess your skills and comfort level by asking yourself How will this position affect my academic responsibilities? Do I have the academic skills to serve as an effective role model for other students? Will I be comfortable assisting students from backgrounds different than my own? Can I energize and get people involved and excited about ASU? Am I a good role model and team player? Am I able to keep calm and articulate myself in stressful situations?
