EH&S Academy Review - Reviewed Course Review & Final Course Assessment Report - Reviewed EH&S Academy Evaluation Summary - Discussed instructions to give to next year s presenters. Emphasize appropriate use of powerpoint and interactivity. - Financially, we are breaking even.
- UC will send thank-you notes to presenters. - Nancy will send out individual evaluations to each presenter. - Next EH&S Academy: UCSD in April 2007. - 2007 Committee: Tim, Nancy & Jessica. We will conference call with Joe within the next few weeks. - Next year strengthen role of STEW liaison back to campus, encouraging presenters to do a dry-run on own campus. VII. o DANR o UCSF Facilities Design & Construction (Neha) - Seeking to close project. - Book Cal OSHA Pocket Guide for the Construction Industry covers key points. - Joe: Book topics are geared toward worker on construction site this project is geared toward architect/engineer who is planning construction. Directors expect us to decide what training is needed for PMI group & facilitate the accomplishment of training (perhaps hiring, going to IH or Ergo groups, etc.). Look into what already exists. - Agreement to give directors an update. - Mark will head up this group. Henk will be on committee. STEW Training Matrix (Mark) - 36 subjects are still current, 46 still yet to check. - Suggestion: Pull Cal/OSHA information from the matrix, and have STEW members verify information with their subject matter experts. IX. Whole Brain (Tim Bean) Goals: - Relate this exercise to yesterday s Effective Training - Discuss quadrants of the brain & how they represent different ways in which people think - Apply that knowledge to effective training - Consider how this applies to our own clientele Exercise - Card Exercise Small group discussions - Powerpoint Presentations: Becoming an ExPERT Worthwhile Presentations 3 integrated skills (organizational, personal & interpersonal)
