Co-developed a bloodless surgery program for a large tertiary care medical center. As a result of developing this program, I was asked to be a consultant to the Clinical Advisory Board for the publication Surgical Blood Conservation Technology Briefing for Clinical Leaders. Redesigned the delivery of care in the endoscopy suite to maximize effectiveness and utilization of resources. Increased utilization from 30% to over 60%. Brought a residency rotation to Franklin Square Hospital Center from Johns Hopkins Medicine and developed it to become the most successful rotation in the Hopkins Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine residency program. Successfully introduced the concept of multi-disciplinary team rounds related to the care of obstetrical patients, creating a culture of cooperation and mutual accountability focusing on the patient rather than the service.
